Both partners were kind and courteous on the phone. We dealt with Hans in person at the shop. He was knowledgeable and quickly found our operator-induced problem (simply letting our generator run out of gas). He was nice enough not to make fun of us. If we ever have small engine problems in the future, we'll go to these folks and recommend that you do, too.
Very reasonable price on my self-propelled mower. Unfortunately, I had diagnosed the problem with my leaf blower as a leaky gas tank. I wish I would have thought to check, however, since I'm not a mechanic, I can see how I missed it. I do wish he would have checked the gas tank before reassembling the leaf blower because it cost more to put it back together than it was worth. It's still not working. To be fair, I did bring it to him disassembled. Also, I think the mechanic should have told me how cheap they were selling for used and it's not really worth fixing. That way, I wouldn't have wasted my money and time. I'm very satisfied with the lawn mower. I'm not sure if I will go back because of the leaf blower. I absolutely do not want something for free. I just believe the man knew ahead of time that it wasn't worth it and should have discussed it with me.
Pressure washer pull cord grabbed and couldn't get enough torque to start the Honda Engine . There could be at least a half dozen reasons for this. Took it in; Hans Nurnberger, the owner, took about 45 seconds to diagnosis the problem. Fixed it at a very reasonable price. I had been told by a neighbor that he was the best in the business and he was right. I can't recommend WNC enough.
Hans & Bill do very good work at extremely good prices. Bill is very experienced & passionate about motorcycle repair. Very knowledgeable. Hans has repaired my 2 cycle items (weed eater & blower) also my lawn tractor. Great turn around and reasonable repair prices. Gave a great explanation on what needed to be done & the bill was itemized.
Great bike shop. I had my tires mounted and speed balanced. Two great old guys who really know their stuff. They even allowed me to watch while they worked on my bike. The name suggests that they only work on cruiser/Harley type motorcycles but I ride a Hayabusa. As good if not better priced than anywhere I've had tires done. Definitely recommend.
We took our classic old bike into knuckleheads to get some problems resolved and we're very happy. They seemed very knowledgeable very kind and went out of their way to do things right. The prices were in line with the labor and parts and we will be counting on them for future adjustments and repairs! We recommend them highly.
I was in town on vacation and had exhaust issues that I did not have the tools to repair. Called Bill he got me in first thing the next day had me back riding in less than 1 hour. I highly recommend if you are in the area and need help call. Very nice and professional people and do not charge you an arm and a leg like most repair shops. Bill thanks again to your and your guys for helping out
Took a motorcycle tire into this shop for balancing -turned out, it did not need balancing. Owner still charged me $20.
