Incredible service and lovely staff. Bossman named Tam usually behind the till he is very funny and extremely kind. Definitely will be coming here for my everyday essentials.

Tried to buy about £3 odd of confectionery for my young son. After about half an hour of him choosing, (u know what kids r like lol) I went to goand pay. I had 2 pound coins a couple of 50ps a 20p and the remaining 30p was in 1's and 2's and a 5p. He refused to serve me because I had 'too much change'. Before the trolls say he doesn't have to accept more than 20 x 1 pence pieces, there was only 5 pence worth. Plus 1x5p. I think the problem was I had 20p in 2 pence pieces. That's only 10 x 2ps. The man was EXTREMELY RUDE saying he had too much change already and I 'needed to leave the shop'. I was horrified. It was a very short guy with a beard. There was no-one else in the whole shop, so it wasn't like I was holding people up. This was our local sweet shop and off licence. Me, my family, and friends won't be going there again -EVER! We use 'Bargain of Winton' just down the road now for alcohol and my son has discovered the joys of choosing better sweets from Poundland and Iceland. The worst part was explaining to my son why he couldn't have a drink because the man in the shop wouldn't accept his pocket money. He has autistic spectrum disorder, so this was very traumatizing for us. AVOID if you have children with special needs or if you want to pay with coins!
