Went in to the surgery today to fill a midwife form as I’m pregnant, don’t know how far gone I am and really need to speak to midwife as I’m bleeding, I stressed this to the receptionist and I was told she is at the surgery once a week, what kind of service is this. If I lose my baby I will be holding you souly accountable. The surgery really is a joke, there is no care for patients at all.
The new phone is system is awful seems it one place taking call for all of Willowbrook health care. It's hard to get an appointment and when you do it's at another surgery ????
Honestly what is the point?
The two times I attempted to use the call back service well I'm still waiting for the call back.
Better off just calling 111
The service is getting worse, I call and keep getting cut off. I get told by NHS 111 that the Willowbrook is listed that i can get an appt at any time of the day, however this is not true. After being on hold to the surgery, i still end up calling 111 back for a walk in centre appt. 5 hours later i will get seen by a doctor in a different walk in centre.
This surgery is terrible. It has been years since i was able to see a doctor.
If your lifestyle doesn't allow you to sit on hold from 8am to 8:45am, then you will not be able to see a doctor. You will end up using the hospital services, which is not what the NHS system should be doing. We should get our basic needs met in a surgery before it gets escalated to A&E or a walk in centre.
It’s so annoying because we are registered with willowbrook medical centre nearly 5 years but every time we call for appointment it’s always full and the worse answer is go to the chemist to buy your medications.
What the point to be registered with willowbrook medical center if you don’t help.
The worst gp cannot get an appointment at all this gp opens at 8 oclock if I start ringing by the time they actually answer the phone all appointments are gone if u have something wrong with u better of trying to fix it by urself
A bad service, rapidly getting worse. 8 weeks wait for a blood test due to cancellations based on staff illness...then impossible to get through on the phone to cancel an appointment you cant attend as the option has been removed to just speak to someone. Making the Surgery a victim of its own poor telephone system. Ive now been waiting for a call back to cancel an appointment for 1 hour and soon the appointment time will have passed.

Hope you never need to see a doctor because scheduling an appointment is dreadful.
They tell you on the phone don't call from 8-10 unless it's an emergency but then say there booked and you must call at 8am. The system is not good enough.
Waste of time and effort. Firstly, you can only get appointments on the day and even if you ring at 8am and are near the front of the queue, they’re all gone. Not even telephone appointments. Had to physically go in to try and sort out an emergency prescription, then they’ll book you an advance telephone appointment to make sure you actually need what you’re being prescribed.
Three months after my one month prescription, I was finally booked in for a telephone appointment. They don’t tell you a time - just a day. I had to be ready all Monday. One call comes at 9:44, I miss it by seconds. Call back instantly. Get put through switchboard and loads of new messages, before being transferred to a different practise. Put on hold for a few minutes before she comes back and tells me I have to ring back at 8am in the morning and book an appointment… The cycle starts all over again!
Guess my mental health is really important!! ????
