I have noticed a huge change so far this year with Willesborough Health Centre, I am very grateful to have a great team so local to me, they are quick to respond, the queue time on the phone is minimal, especially compared to what it once was. I have a number of different referrals currently, and I feel in great hands! Well done, the improvements have been noticed!
Some of the receptionist staff that are on the phones are completely void of empathy when an older person is struggling to book an appointment that is forcibly an online process.
When the above is expressed they immediately get defensive saying they have never had any complaints about it when all anyone has heard about this surgery is bad news. Some people have no choice but to use this service, the staff should be ashamed.
I would have given no stars or even negative score if this was an available option. The whole Ashford Medical Partnership is nothing but a joke of a service. At first there is no appointment to see doctors, I then go private hospital get myself checked - Doctor's note forwarded to GP to go on my record and for prescription (apparently private hospital will not issue prescription) - no communication from GP formore than week after receiving the doctor's note and when I call they simply suggest they forgot to pass it on to their prescription administration team, and today only to be told that the GP needs to see me before releasing my prescription. The whole point I went private was you lot didn't any appoint with your doctors and now why do want to see me when I have taken an effort togo private. I pay for my prescription so why can;t you just release it as per the private hospital's note to begin my treatment. You are nothing but a waste.
I've never had any major issues with the surgery but when it came to getting my bus pass letter it took me a year to get it, (partly due to me forgetting to chase them but still) I told them about needing it and I waited weeks knowing it was an out of hours job but then months went by and every time I asked it was not ready or they needed to chase it up their end. finally, they said it was ready and they were going to email me some info so I could pay for it, I didn't receive everything I needed, so I couldn't pay the fee so I asked again and they said they would do it and again I didn't get anywhere, my most resent ask got them telling me to go back into the practice and sort it there so I did and low and behold they had it waiting for me and I paid for it and left with it. All in all, some advice for ye all, don't go in asking for things like this unless you wish to wait a long time, a year is a complete joke.
If I could I would give this surgery 0 stars.
The service I have received from this GP Practice is absolute disgusting. No one seems to care about their patients. I honestly do not know how this surgery is still running.
Poor care & not taken seriously. I feel that I have been discriminated for my age and not provided the correct care.
0/5. No appointments on five separate occasions in five weeks. Including for a one year old. When chased about appointments say they attempted to contact despite no calls/emails/texts and then fail to provide practice managers details upon request and hang up the phone. This is in addition to consistently losing paperwork or forms submitted or for collection despite calling in to collect. Absolutely appalling.
If i could I wouldn't even want to give a 1 star ????. I have back injury and I want to book an appointment and throw by phone. After waiting for 30 minutes of queue I asked for appointment. One of staff did not even explain nicely she just said to book online and she put the phone down. I did book an appointment on line but within 24 hrs time no one responded. Again After 24 I send my family to gp and she explained everything. They took all my details and they said they will contact within 24 hrs. I again phoned them and there is a longer wait. It was my turn after 3rd in the queue but suddenly they cut off the phone line. This Gp is not well managed and even reception staff are very rude. This gp is not for treating the patients but to make more worst for patients.
They always have no appointments available, and every time I call them, I'm on hold for at least 2 hours and half of that I'm number 1. It honestly feels that they just ignore the phone, and when I try to book an appointment in the online service, it just says that they don't do it.
