Best KPortal Reviews
It is a nice cafe and this is the second time we have visited. The younger lady, who initially greeted us this time, wasn't very welcoming. Whereas, the lady who we met on our previous visit, was the opposite. It was a bit hit and miss.
Unfortunately, the small and beautiful riverside terrace at the back of the cafe, does NOT allow dogs. It is hard to understand why. For that reason, it is unlikely we will be returning which is a shame. I think the cafe is really missing out on trade and revenue here, as the area is full of visitors, walkers/dog owners. There are other cafes that are dog friendly in the area so all is not lost. However, there are a few small tables at which you can eat outside at the front of the cafe if you wish, but it is nowhere near as nice, relaxing, nor as peaceful as the back. Food was good but our visit this time was sadly disappointing.
Quality tea room next to the river. Unfortunately not warm enough for us to sit outside but inside was not cramped and spotless. Good range of gluten free options across the menu. Was the best flat white I've had in ages. Not the cheapest in Pateley but you get what you pay for. We will definitely be going back
Ploughman's lunch. Served on a 30 year old glorified side plate. Even though plenty of staff no table service. Food quality and quantity very average. Lacking imagination, no local connection made to what are award winning pork pie for instance.
Tea served with smallest tea pot and cup l have ever seen. I live there won't be back
We called in to the wildings tea room on our visit to Pateley Bridge, we had 2 latte’s and a slice of lovely homemade cake, the staff were very friendly and helpful and dogs are also welcome at the front of the tea room .
I work in Pateley Bridge once a month and having tried a few cafes this ones lovely. Food is all freshly prepared and staff are lovely. Toilets available & always clean.
Lovely food, friendly staff, great place to grab a snack or more if you are starting or ending a walk along the river
Loverly little coffee shop nice coffee very polite staff and nice fruit toast. Fast service very relaxed amazing selection of cakes.
Lovely food and service, great spot
