One of the best dining facilities I been to in a while. The service members are nice. There are a good variety of choices as far as sides to choose from. The pairs are great and they also have a smoothie bar! The sitting area is spacious and clean. I wouldn't mind eating here again.
Lunch is the best time to go. Best DFAC on base and you get so much for the price. It’s worth stopping by if you work on base. They have themed days and the food is packed with flavor! I am never disappointed with all of the choices.
Best chow hall in an Arctic Airborne unit! Chow is great! Themed Holiday meals are inviting. The people that work there and the leaders serving during Thanksgiving are so warm and welcoming. I’ll be coming back everyday until my access is gone.
One thing I miss the most about the military is the Chow-Hall , definitely!!! This one, is one of my favorites, though ... They feed you really good here... "Most" of the people are very friendly and very respectful... They also try exceptionally hard to keep it very clean, especially the Latrines... Thank you JBER for keeping up so well on this particular Chow-Hall, my wife and I always enjoy our time together here...
Love how all the soldiers working here are all so depressed and tired that it takes them 30 minutes to change one tray of steak and how they take their time walking from the kitchen to the line, and boy how I love the fact that they are also so committed to excellence and have such good hearing that they need you to repeat your order twice! Such excellent service! I love waiting in line for twenty minutes for dry chicken…. You signed the dotted line guys, nobody else chose your mos for you
Their business hours during 4-day weekends are always a mystery. Sometimes they do regular hours and sometimes they do weekend hours. When they are running out of food, they rather serve you smaller portions than replacing the trays. This place may be good for civilians that occasionally eat there, but not for meal card holders who are forced to eat there every single day.
I payed over $300 a month taken directly from my paycheck for raw chicken, rotting vegetables, and burned coffee. The only way to find tolerable food is to eat the least healthy options, like pizza or hamburgers. No wonder there’s so many people on ABCP at fort rich.
