Stunning beach. Parking is plentiful and cheap. Good alternative to the busier beaches nearby. Want to go back for surfing!
Beautiful views.
Sandy and Rocky Beach.
Lovely blue seas, lots of surfers and people taking a dip.
Lovely walk along the sand, socksand shoes off to feel the sand between your toes.
Parking is chargeable.
Cafe and toilets on site.
Life guard on duty.
Nice beach. Dogs are allowed any time of the day after September 31st.
It is a pebble beach after high tide. But as it goes in the sand reappears.
Plenty of dogs running about. Weirdly not as windy on the beach as compared to the car park.
Car park is very expensive but you can pay via app at least. Unfortunately that's the issue with these sort of places.
We always love coming back to the bay every time we come down to the Bude area. Dog friendly at southern end and whole beach after18.00, the area is great for all comers!! Always clean beach with rnli guards. Adequate parking and refreshments at the back of the beach and have always found a space somewhere- regardless of season!!
A really great beach for brilliant waves and accessibility (depending on needs).
Being a blue badge holder, we never have a problem securing a parking spot and whilst we still have to pay for parking with the badge, the parking is good enough to not mind too much. There are also toilets in the car park and a cafe for food and drink, which is really handy.
There are both steps and a ramp down to the beach straight from the car park so a long walk isn’t needed before setting up on the beach.
When the tide is out there is a long walk to the sea, including crossing a few rocky sections, but it’s beautiful views even just from the top of the beach.
Didn't see too much of the beach, due to an injury, but what I was able to see was just gorgeous. The tide was rolling in, people walking dog, responsibly. Can't begin to think how crowded this will be in the summer.
Even if you just stop here for a cuppa in the cafe, take the time to enjoy it.
Very very busy beach. Best to park in Black Rock car park £5 all day. Very wide beach rocks either end with lots of rock pools. Lifeguards on watch and have flags to swim between. Place to hire sup, kayaks and surfboards and a cafe too. Some of the cliffs are a bit crumbly so beware.
Nice beach, part rocks, plenty sand when the tide is out. Parking expensive, £8.30 for a day and most of the car park is really rough. The ladies toilets were not functioning so we're closed. Great for rock pools, the kids loved it
