I like going into this shop with great expectation as to what will be behind the shop counter and wondering what yummy food I can buy.It is good to have two shops in the village both with different things in them give the village a great variety and choice .This Shop will be in the history books for sure and will succeed for generations to come.X
This is one of the best local shops I have ever visited. Lots of fresh produce available and the staff are all so friendly and helpful. The choice of cakes and pies is amazing and they are so tasty. They also support local businesses by supplying their produce in the shop. There is seating available to sit outside the shop and they are super dog friendly too, providing water bowls and treats outside and points to tie up your dogs whilst in the shop. You can also purchase hot drinks and warm your food with the use of a microwave in the shop. They also sell a superb range of icecream in a cone or by the tub.
Another hidden gem. The selection of pies, pastry products and cakes is unbelievable. Chicken curry pies are just the best. Sausage Rolls are full of meat and very tasty. Cakes are just something else, very big and very tasty. Will be back here on a regular basis.
I visit here once or twice a week and it's always a joy! A superb selection of pies and sweet treats awaits me every time I go through the door, as well as my morning coffee. The staff are always cheery and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
Just popped in for a coffee and ended up with various pies which were amazing, especially the Philly cheese one.????
Staff were wonderful and good crack which is needed in a rural shop.
Will be back again when down that way and not just for coffee.????
