Claimed they work on diesels brought my 04 ram 3500 5.9 in for possible injectors swap found out it needed cylinder head work sent it off a month later finely heard back said they couldn't get it to crank. I had a can of starting fluid in the truck in which they helped theirselves to it used the whole can 4500 dollars later a week of driving it goes down again. Got to looking under the hood they had cut my heater hoses why I'm not sure of and had put a jack under the oil pan and dented it in just to tell me to have it towed back to them.why don't the owner come to me and check it out instead of my spending nearly 300 dollars to have it towed to them I Def won't recommend them

Heater hose nozzle broke from connector and spewing anti freeze.
I called Whitley to see if they could fix the vehicle, as we were travelleling. The man who answered the phone said to get it here and they will check it out.
We were three miles away, let the vehicle cool and refilled the tank with bottled water we had on hand.
Made it there and Brent told us to pull it in. They did not have the exact part, but ensured us that they will fix it.
Back on the road in no time.

Heather at the front desk was beyond such a help … my car broke down I’m 1,000 miles from home and she did everything to ensure I was going to be alright and get back on the road . 10/10 would breakdown here again
Hands down, Whitley Auto Services is the best automobile repair facility in Dalton, Georgia.
As a long-time customer driving a truck with 181,000 miles on it ( Yes, I squeeze ‘em for all they are worth! ), I have on more than a few occasions relied on Whitley Auto Services to bail me out of mechanical difficulties.
Owner Brent is a hands-on guy who knows his stuff, and keeps a highly qualified staff on hand.
No BS, no upselling, just honest and knowledgeable service.
If I could give no stars I would. I took my trailblazer down there and had the transmission rebuilt. It took them a month to finish that. It did fine at first. And then it started shifting hard. I took it back about 4 or 5 times and they said they drove it and was nothing wrong with it. It has set more than I was able to drive it. Then when I went to drive it one day would not move foreword or backward. I called and they said it had been past my “one year warranty” and that they could work with me if I could bring it in down there. My dad looked at it for me and the transmission is burnt up and the transmission fluid is black. I have drove it a hand full of times and that is it. They did my step brother the same way he kept having to take his vehicle back. I will never use or suggest them again.
This place is fantastic! They always get my car in quickly and fix it as soon as they possibly can. Prices are reasonable and my father and I have never felt as if we were being price gouged or as if we were of unimportance to these great people. Haven't met anyone here that isn't friendly or rude.
My girlfriend and I were traveling to Tennessee for the Thanksgiving holiday and ran into car trouble the day before Thanksgiving. Brent and his staff went over and beyond to fix our car and get us back on the road. And the price was more than reasonable. We made it back to Florida and the car runs better than before. Would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks Whitley Auto Service, the world is a better place with people like you in it.
These guys replaced a timing chain for me. The work was done correctly and on time. Honest, reliable and gives good advice. I will continue doing business in the future.
