I went here for my birthday brunch! 5-14-24
The atmosphere here is very calming- slightly dimmed lights making the ambience peaceful
The food was very delicious I would highly recommend the chicken cutlet sandwich!
I also got a vanilla latte it was beautiful with a heart design on top when I received the drink!
The cakes are so stunning and even more delicious
Very reasonably priced.
Something for everybody there is so many options and flavors to choose from!
I couldn’t decide which slice of cake I wanted they all are so enticing - so I ended up with two slices they were both absolutely perfect and moist yet still fluffy.
The bathroom was very clean
The staff is very friendly
The parking is a little tight for bigger vehicles but totally do-able, the lot is somewhat busy though so it might be harder to find a spot.
I went for coffee at 10 am on Sunday, 3/24/24. There was a bit of a line, but it moved quickly! While I waited for my coffee, I checked out the pastries and was so happy to find samples! Everything I tried was delicious and I will definitely be back for more.
I got the Lavender Latte and it was very tasty!
Go on the early side because by the time I left, the line was longer! I would definitely go back. Cute place!
Good selection of pastries (both savory and sweet) and drinks (coffee, tea, milk tea, etc), but make sure you go early; otherwise, the more popular pastries get sold out. My recommendation for pastries are the pizza baguette, strawberry pastry, and mocha bread. Prices are a little on the higher end, especially when compared to similar bakeries down Buford Highway. Good spot to sit down and do work if it’s not too crowded, but most of the time it’s pretty crowded and a little difficult to find a table. Parking can also be limited too during busy periods.
I don't know if it's a trend these days, but first of all, it's noisy and each table has a laptop on, taking up one seat. The bread and coffee were okay, but I'm looking for a quiet cafe and there doesn't seem to be a suitable place to drink coffee. Someone please tell me why I study at cafes..
If you are a student perhaps this is a place for you. But if you come back with kids years later, mind that there is no high chair! Items are pricier than the competition sweet hut bakery down the road but also this place is bigger in size too. Baked goods are pretty good though.
Pretty quick to get up and order. I had the ham and cheese brioche and would 10/10 go back just for that. The vanilla latte is good, but their baked items are super delicious!! I got strawberry cream bread and was pleasantly surprised to find it both light and filling. This place is absolutely becoming a favorite!!
I like how they make all the bread and cake in this location. However, I don't like how they increase the price of the past year, and they always run out of most bread around the evening and try to sell drinks. Coffee and frozen yogurt drinks tasted like water down. Some of the cookies and bread are okay.
We needed a spot to get some work done on a Sunday afternoon, so we pulled into White Windmill. Whatever you imagine when you think of 'cafe vibes,' I'm pretty sure you'll find it here. There's a telltale whiff of caffeine and baked goods in the air, chill music in the background, and the just-right din of other customers that get you into productivity mode (of course, the free wifi helps to that end too).
There are baked goods galore, with cakes (whole and sliced) and macarons sitting enticingly in the fridge. There were even a few gluten-free options available, though many of them seemed to be sold out by the afternoon. There's a similar profusion of drink offerings, many of which are offered both iced and hot. I was curious about quite a few unique ones, like rose and charcoal. But with the lines so long behind me, it felt hard to ask too many questions (though the cashier seemed sweet enough to entertain all the ones I asked), so I settled on a lavender latte while my husband got the iced chai. With it, we also nabbed a cheesecake slice. We received the cake right away, but given a vibrating pager to let us know when our drinks were ready. All of it was delicious, though everything seemed to hit a little harder on the sugary scale than I would have preferred - including the drinks, which come pre-sweetened.
There's a pretty wide seating area, with tables, high tables, and a long communal table. The space was packed and we had to seat ourselves at a bigger table with strangers, but I appreciated that the noise level never got too loud or distracting.
