Beautiful tea room, looks like an old church hall, walls decorated with many pages of famous books, nice ambience, lovely staff, great welcome. Gorgeous food. Very reasonable prices.
This place is amazing. We have started coming here regularly with Mum who has dementia. The staff are amazing, so friendly and kind and the food and atmosphere is just great. We are always made to feel so welcome. This should be classed as a dementia friendly place. Love it. Many thanks
Lovely place to pop in for a coffee or tea and proper traditional cakes very warm and cosy atmosphere.
Really great cafe. The food was delicious, with portion sizes exactly as was expected. Service was brilliant as we didn't realise the kitchen was technically closed as we walked in, but the staff were brilliant and kept it open for us. Some of the walls are decorated by wallpaper made from the pages of storybooks, which add a layer of whimsy to the place too.
This is a fab tea room in Blanchland Very friendly and welcoming. Muddy boots and muddy dogs accepted without hesitation. Excellent selection of hot light meals, scones and cakes. Soup was good, and there were decent veggie and vegan options on the menu which was a nice change. Coffee was also good, so we came back for a takeaway order while we were in the area. Highly recommended, and they take cards so no need to hunt for a cash machine.

Great space and decor inside, quite unique experience in itself. The walnut and coffee cake was nice, although I wouldn't say *to die for* as other reviews have stated. Don't do Flat Whites.
Absolutely brilliant place to stop and eat. Fantastic value, very friendly,attentive staff and the portions are very generous. The cakes are great value, freshly baked and the 4 slices for £10 is too good to miss. Plenty of parking space and a lovely warm welcome
