Came here for an early dinner. The woman taking the orders could not have been ruder, the cooks were nicer than her!
The cheeseburgers we got were delicious, the fries were hot and fresh. The burgers were definitely smaller than I was expecting, so we ended up ordering another.
The restaurant was a little sticky, but cleaner than I was expecting.
Have been wanting to come here for awhile now, it's a bit of a drive so I had to come up to the zoo since it was a good day. I have to say that this spot is far better than any five guys I have been to. I ended up getting the double cheeseburger with bacon and grilled Onions, strawberry shake and the fries/onion rings combo. The fry/ring combo a ???? up, the burger was juicy and the shake was delicious. I can't wait to come back up here again.
Food is pretty good and not overpriced. I was pleasantly impressed with how quickly everything was served. Whole staff was alert, attentive, and friendly. My 5-year-old enjoyed sitting at the counter so she could watch the crew make the burgers. Really good chocolate shakes, too.
Harriest hot dog I’ve ever had! And the fries were somehow soggy and hard at the same time - a true feat of culinary technique. Staff chatter of getting jacked at the 7-Eleven really set the mood as we dined. Easily the worst dive I’ve been to. 0/5
The food here was pretty tasty, but the real star of the show was the soda machine. Not only did the have cream soda; not only did they have lemon soda; they had R.C. COLA!!!!!! This is the most amazing thing ever! Royal Crown is far superior to Coke or that swill known as Pepsi.
Located on a rather major street, the White Hut has been serving up New England Steamed Hams (with and without cheese) since your grandparents were dancing the jitterbug, if you pick up my implications.
They also serve a really interesting concoction: a tubular sausage on a bun I was assured that, though served hot, had no actual canine content.
The service was fast and friendly. The bathroom was very accessible. My only (reasonable) complaint is that the menu board was a couple of television screens. I would have much preferred an actual, physical menu.
Love the burgers and fries. Wanted a milkshake but they weren't available. No problem, just another reason to come back.
It's an unfortunate shell of the White Hut many of us grew up with. Signature hamburgers with fried onions have been replaced with $4.50 paper thin patties and with cheap toppings. Another $3.50 for a small cup of no flavor, cold French fries. Meanwhile I can't even get some ketchup while 4 employees sit on their phones swearing in conversation to each other. They kept the nostalgia during re-opening but all the heart is gone.
What don't you recommend about White Hut?
Very disappointed. Was at a vendor event 8-9 vendors were part of the group order. at Dante club.
Place over $100.00 in orders. The Hamburgers were Raw. Hot dogs were fresh from the Freezer. We called the restaurant and were told the manager wasn't available to call back and then we were told that the manager himself cooked the food. Very disappointed, l'm never ordering again. Horrible customer service. We should have gotten our money back. We threw our food away. We didn’t want food Poisoning. So Disgusting.
