The food is really good, the crispy chicken sandwich is really, really good - crispy and tangy, and the bun was so soft. It is rather pricey to eat there as it is everywhere else in Aspen.The roast beef au jus sandwich was a little disappointing and rather flavorless. I would not get that again. The kale salad was absolutely delicious.
I had a great experience here. The white haired gentleman (I unfortunately forgot his name) was a great host. He seated us quickly, and was friendly as well as professional. I had the honor burger which has to be one of the best I have had hands down, kudos to the cooks, presentation was also excellent. Overall excellent food, service, and atmosphere. I plan to visit again in the future!
Best experience in Aspen. We came at 6pm on NYE and sat at the bar within 25 min. They don't accept reservations but honestly, it's worth it. Food is f'ing delicious- everything we got was excellent. Sandwich special (which was like a Cuban with slaw), French dip, deviled eggs, kale salad with rotisserie chicken, and brussel sprouts. We loved everything. The bartender actually took time to make our drinks technically well, and with great ingredients, and make sure we were happy by checking in frequently (thanks Sandra
!!). Vibe was relaxed, warm, and cozy. I recommend this place, not only as the best in Aspen, but somewhere I would go out of my way to eat at generally.
Worth every cent. Excellent service… and food and drinks are Perfect. It’s a pretty small restaurant but the lighting, music, and overall ambiance makes it so nice, perfect for a date night.
The margarita was EXCELLENT, strong and savory, my husband and I each had 2.
Our server was so kind and speedy. I asked what the most popular dish was she immediately said the chicken sandwich and my oh my was it good. I usually avoid chicken sandwiches thinking they’re all the same, but this sandwich was one of the best. We also had the fish sandwich or something like that, also very good. We liked it so much we recommended our friends to go there, they went later that same day and also enjoyed everything about the White House.
Highly recommend and will definitely be back on our next Aspen trip.
It is rare for places to be consistent with food quality and service post covid. But this place is an exception to that. The menu is just right, if offers you decent selections but not too much. From entry to this establishment till exit. Each team member strives to give you a great meal. Table is touched just the right amount of time. Food never takes too long. Everything always tastes fantastic. Keep it up!
Crispy Chicken Sandwich! We went back twice, this place was so cozy, fresh and a must visit if you are in Aspen. Waitstaff was quick and ambiance was friendly. Loved it, Highly recommend!
Service was amazing. The staff were friendly and efficient. Not a big selection of food but what we had was great. The waitress made great recommendations for our restrictions. We had the chicken sliders with chicken substituted for avocado. It tastes way better than it sounds and I was surprised by how much I liked it. Will definitely stop by on our next trip to Aspen.
Really tiny place and a little pricey. The food was very worth it and really delicious. Saw all the reviews on here recommending crispy chicken sandwich and omg, so good. The nachos came with two dips- guacamole and spicy mayo. Very tasty!
