Stayed for 1 night as work booked me a room. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room I had was 2 single beds with an en-suite, room was a reasonable size. Beds were comfortable and clean. Looks like they have showed them some attention in the last year maybe? Had evening meal that was very nice a reasonably priced. Breakfast was included and very nice once again. Would be more than happy to stay again if the need arises to be in the area again.
I have just come back home today after staying here for a week. I have to say from the minute I got there I was looked after from booking in to checking out. The rooms are spotless and the food is brilliant. I had to leave this morning before breakfast time and was told some breakfast would be waiting for me so I had food before leaving, you would not get this anywhere else. I will be staying here again. I highly recommend this hotel.
From the moment that we walked through the front door at the White Horse Tavern the warm welcome that we received from Rob & Jackie was really nice. We were shown to our room which was perfect and we were soon in the bar drinking with the locals before we headed off for our night at the Telford International Centre. |Everyone is so welcoming & friendly at the White Horse Tavern, the bedrooms are lovely and with a very comfortable bed which is always a bonus. The breakfast & service is amazing and along with how lovely Rob & Jackie are this is easily in the top five of the best places we have ever stayed and we're already planning our return visit.
Great place, spotless room, friendly staff giving a warm welcome and lovely food. Can't fault it and would return in a heartbeat. So much better than soul less hotel chains.
What a gem of a find, Jacqui and Rob were fantastic friendly hosts. The food was outstanding too, pub food selection but cooked perfectly. Breakfast was included in the room price and was perfect with cereal, full English, tea or coffee, toast and orange juice also given the option of extra toast and orange juice or coffee/tea top up as well.
Great little atmosphere, rooms were a bit like a maze to get to but it was really comfortable for our stay. Staff were amazing and service was great
Great place to stay. Lovely welcome nice room and really clean. The breakfast was great too.
Two large radiators in our room/bathroom, but neither worked on the coldest night of the year so far. Just a small convector heater provided. Smelly bathroom and noisy first thing in the morning. Would not recommend.
