Came here for Sunday dinner and couldn't have asked for better. The portion sizes were huge, they didn't skimp on the meat, and it was served with a side of different veggies. We were absolutely stuffed- until we saw the desserts on the table next to us and couldn't resist! The service was friendly and welcoming. A great family-run pub that I will definitely be coming to again.

Our family came over to visit us from Sheffield and we treated them to a Sunday lunch as we have been here several times before. We were not disappointed as the food is lovely and was voted the best they had ever had!! It is a lovely family run pub with friendly service and great ales.

An excellent family owned pub which has been comfortably refurbished recently in a manner that has not detracted from its traditional village pub atmosphere. The real ales can be relied upon to be well kept and nicely presented and the resident chef freshly prepares meals of 'gastro-pub' standard at 'pub-grub' prices so the food is excellent. The opening hours are currently restricted, sadly, due to the virus but the pub is still well worth a visit. I have no connection with this business except as a highly satisfied customer.
