The driver of White Fleet cab 1303 just charged me $20.00 for a .6 mile ride to my apartment from the Carnival cruise line. He did not turn on his meter and wanted cash. I attempted to contact this company to no avail. Extremely disappointed in this service and would not recommend them in the future.
Our driver, Theodore, was phenomenal! The ride was pleasant and his conversation was interesting. He talked to my girlfriend and I about NOLA and seemed genuinely happy to hear about our trip. My girlfriend talked to him about Mardi Gras and her hometown of Shreveport. He ended up giving us a special throw from one of the Mardi Gras parades!
I use this taxi cab company for a ride from New Orleans hotel to the airport. The reason I making the post is to let everybody know the taxi cab driver lied about having my fleece jacket in his trunk. I called they dispatcher two different times and the driver lied two different times stating my jacket was not in his taxi cab. It is a sad scenario that the driver believes he can get away with stealing something that doesn't belong to him. I'm hopeful I can go up a second level of management to hold this taxi cab driver accountable. I wonder how many times he has managed to steal from other customers?
The Driver of #0835 comes every night parks in front of my house gets off the taxi and takes a pee everyday out on the street without even trying to hid it. Every single night almost at the exact time. This is getting obnoxious and I’ve already taken down all his info , down to the exact times he does this. I’ve called to report him and of course no one answers. We have cameras out front so we can provide any evidence necessary. So to the gross old man that does this every single night please stop before we escalate this matter. There’s kids around and you’re doing this in public.
0810 just cut off a mule drawn carriage and almost hit the mule doing it on Decatur Street. I've also seen them tailgate the carriages and pass them in no passing zones. Y'all might want to make sure your drives know basic driving laws, and didn't get their license from a crackerjack box .
I would have given zero stars if possible....this taxi driver drove through knee deep flooded streets and and sweared all over thr road speeding in a flash flood severe thunderstorm. And then had the nerve to try to harrass me for a tip. Please! This was an unsafe ride and I will never use this company again when I come to New Orleans .
The driver of 0195 cut me off me on I10 then made strange hand motions at me and drove 15 or 20 below the speed limit. It was all for no apparent reason as he was not exiting and actually moved over to the left lane shortly after aggressively cutting me off. All of these drivers are awful, but this one was stellar at being the absolute worst and creating unnecessary road hazards and safety concerns. Unsafe drivers up and down Poydras in New Orleans. They cut me off, cut across lanes and try and fight you while merging when they knew they needed to be in a lane for half a mile. As a driver, I couldn't recommend them and I can only imagine how scary it is riding in a car with them. Avoid at all costs
