Nice dining area, good flavors and decent service. I had two sliders, fries and a drink. The sliders were pretty good and the fries were crispy. This was my first visit to White Castle. Very similar to Krystal's Hamburgers (both the portion sizes and taste). The portions are pretty small for the price, but I enjoyed my meal.
Ah, White Castle. The land of tiny burgers and excellent french fries. Where the restaurant may be fairly clean, but the wait time to order is as big as the burgers are small.
I recently visited one of their fine establishments and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the place. However, the emptiness of the restaurant was a bit of a head-scratcher. With practically no one there, you'd think they would have been able to take our order a bit faster. But alas, no. We had to wait, as if we were in a busy metropolis during lunch hour.
And then, the main event: the burgers. Ah, yes. The burgers that are smaller than a playing card but pack a punch in flavor... or so I thought. In all honesty, the burger was just okay. Nothing special, but nothing terrible either. It was just there, like a supporting character in a movie.
But the real MVP of the meal were the french fries. They were excellent. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and just the right amount of salt. I was in fry heaven, and it made up for the average burger experience.
In conclusion, if you're in the mood for a tiny burger and some fantastic fries, White Castle is the place to be. Just don't expect the burger to steal the show.
I went around 12 noon for some brunch/breakfast. I ordered two waffle based sliders, fries and a coffee.
I ended up waiting 30 minutes and they never got started on my food. The other customers were concerned when I told them I was still waiting on my order of TWO sliders.
When it was mentioned, they started slowly working on my order. I watched the manager do practically nothing. You would think with 10 orders on the board she would be spurring people on and getting the line moving. Order after order other people got their food, I still waited.
I just asked for a refund and went to Taco Bell down the street, which was more quicker in service. I was served, ate and out the door in less than 30.
It was a shame, I really wanted a hot meal after pulling a 16 hour shift. I've gone to the WC before during the night shift when a different manager is onboard. They are always quick and the food is always fresh.
Normally never disappointed, but went early in the morning, the amount of time I had waited to get 4 sausage egg & cheese sliders, would've been on par to be fresh....The bread was stale! The cheese was dried as if it were from the previous day! The food seemed as if it wasn't even really thrown in a microwave! DO BETTER!
Loveeee White Castle! Is it gourmet burger? No. Does it satisfy? Absolutely. I got several with fries and it hit the spot. Drive-thru was on point.
Stopped in late after work. Had fantastic customer experience with the drive thru lady. Her name Stacy is she was extremely friendly and she was very patient it was a long line on a Friday. She was very welcoming and very attentive very knowledgeable of the menu. She is great employee good for her 5 star experience.
Got a sack of ten cheese, got home to no pickles. Called the store, guy says sorry they are training new hires. Now, if your training and they do not get 1 of the main ingredients then your not training correctly. The guy says, you can come back and I he will give me some pickles.....WOW
Changing my all five star review to one stars all the way down due to incident happening on February 5th. 2024. I came after work to get a hot chocolate and a dessert brownie along with some fries of fully loaded fries, about 9:30pm. Guys there full-on gave me an ICE COLD Hot chocolate. When I complained they refused to give me my money back or fix the incident. I'm not happy I wasted money on exactly what I didn't want
