Great ministry and extremely nice people. The cafe is clean and has lots of room for large families or groups. That is the positives. The negatives are the menu is very limited, there are no kid meals, and the food is not great. It took a little over an hour to get our food after we ordered and they were not busy. My order was wrong and was never made right. The food came out cold. My eggs and biscuits were literally cold to the touch. The pancakes were the thinnest pancakes I have ever seen and didn’t taste good at all. I would not recommend this place. The food is subpar and the prices are outrageous. $86 which averaged out to about $20 a person. NOT WORTH IT!!!!!
This Quant Cafe was so sweet and inviting. From the porch to the wonderful setting of a warm open fire. The Aviance was so appealing. The food was so wonderful. Large portions made me feel right at home. The homemade gravy to the very tasteful Denver omelet to having some of my husband's wonderful large pork chops that were cooked perfectly browned and can't forget to mention the great cup of coffee. And our wonderful server Mattie. I hope I got that right. So sweet. Was a great first experience. We are new to Batesville Arkansas. We will definitely make this one of our new go to places to eat. Next we would like to try lunch. Thx Whistle Stop.

Not a very clean place. Food (breakfast) was greasy. They served the bisquits and gravy 10 minutes before the rest, so it was cold before I could eat it. Its not sausage gravy, but milk gravy. Bland. I won't go back...
My husband and I stopped in here today, and had a bad experience we ordered burgers with mustard and pepper jack cheese when they came out about 30 minutes later his had mustard mine had mayo both had cheddar, I told the waitress she took them back to the kitchen they added a peice of pepper jack on top of the cheddar for my husband and sent it back out then mine came out this time the bun is dry so we ask for mustard to put on it.. in the mean time I realize my burger now also has pepper jack on top of cheddar and that I have mayonnaise on my fries and other things on my plate. They actually took my burger back and instead of remaking it correctly they scraped the mayo off and gave me a new bun and added a 2nd kind of cheese. I've owned a food place and never would I have scrapped anything off of something and reserved it to a customer, it should have been re made correctly. The food did not taste bad and we most likely would have been back there to eat again but now I am questioning how many sanitary practices the kitchen has so I doubt we will ever be back. I did speak with the manager who just said I hope that's not what they did but I am sure that she knows they did it. It's extremely disturbing to think what might have happened if I had an allergy to mayo. Do better please.
We really enjoyed our breakfast here. Large portions, great service, friendly staff.
Awesome little restaurant with some good “home cooking”. We were seated next to the fireplace and it was so cozy. Definitely recommend.
