Visited Whipped cafe twice on our visit to York. It is quite a popular place but luckily we got a table each time. On our first visit we ordered the porridge and avocado on sourdough with poached eggs, and on the second time we ordered the regular and veggie breakfast. All food was lovely, my favourite was the porridge, I could have eaten another bowl of it! They also do lunch options which looked good. I'd definitely recommend this cafe on your next visit to York. Thank you for the delicious food!
Best breakfast in York, catered for any request. The full English breakfast was perfect!
Cute and relaxing atmosphere.
The atmosphere here is lovely, so cosy! We visited in early evening for dessert and could have stayed in there for hours. Loved the playlist they had on too.
Staff were friendly and food/drink was amazing.
One of the best oat lattes I've had, I would be in here all the time if I was local!
Food quality is amazing and portion sizes are generous- my daughter had a stack of pancakes almost as tall as her!
We were there for Sunday breakfast and the place was busy with a lively, buoyant atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful and service was prompt. Definitely worth a visit!

Appalling behaviour from the lady at the counter who thinks when she does a mistake they can pay off by giving a pound back without so much as a sorry. All I was asking for was to receive my full order. Instead the manager turned up with bill and explanation which said " we haven't charged you for what you didn't get you know... but I happy to pay you a pound back" my bill was above £40 , I was definitely not looking to get any money back. All I wanted was good food experience with full order. Disappointed!!!
It's rather expensive but then you do get large portions. Perhaps too large without any real indication of what you're letting yourself in for. Some of us couldn't finish a whole waffle for example. And they were also a little undercooked, making them a bit stodgy. Good flavours though.
Took the kids here today for a treat and they loved it, said they preffered it to Heavenly Desserts and we will be back. Prices are much better too! The food was delicious and the lady who served us was super friendly and helpful. Only marked down 1 star as there were a few items on the menu missing.
