We stopped in for lunch today; our first time here, and I have to say I'm really glad another bar a few doors down ignored us or we wouldn't have tried Wheelhouse! We got the broasted chicken and it was phenomenal!! It was crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside with just the right spices. I've tried many broasted chicken places and this is hands down the best I've had.
The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get, and they don't upcharge every little thing. The food quality is very good as well. I wish they had handcut fries, but the waffle fries are good. The side salad was crisp and fresh, with of course an awesome "restaurant ranch", if you know, you know.
Our waitress today was the absolute sweetest and did a wonderful job... and answered our many questions honestly, which was a big help deciding what to try. She checked back often enough, but not so much it felt like hovering which is a plus!
They have a mix of high tops and low tops as well as bar seating. The music wasn't obnoxiously loud either, which was really nice! (And great selection today!)
Will I go back? Absolutely!!
1/2 price on pasta every Tuesday. The Cajun chicken is to die for and it's so much food too, you will have leftovers for later.
Pretty good place! I had never been here before but I’d go back. Great sandwiches, beer, and the patio is nice. Also the staff did a great job even though they were swamped
Quiet when we went. Heard there is music & dancing on the weekend! My Husband and I went here for a bite to eat & some drinks. Everything was delicious ???? honestly the waffle fries and seasoned sour cream was the best we ever had!
Our waitresses was great. The steak bites were tender and flavorful. We'll be back!
Update: Wheelhouse does breakfast now, on Saturday and Sunday. We just went. There was bingo going on too. Breakfast was good. I enjoyed that the French Toast actually had flavor to it (cinnamon and vanilla?). The breakfast potatoes were crispy, which is something I always appreciate.
Our time at Wheelhouse was spectacular. Anna made sure that our dining experience was superb even though she was the only server with multiple tables. Food was fantastic. We will absolutely come back & request our same server again.
Food is great! Get the Mac with chicken and sea food. Drinks are amazing. Crack pipe shots a must. Bartenders are always ontop of everything. Night life even better. Great Djs. Shout out to security for always doing the job with a smile.
Some girlfriends and I stopped in to have lunch here. They were pretty quick to take our drink orders . But they didn't come back to take our food order for over 20 minutes. The food is mediocre and the service is poor.
