So good. Very very clean, well kept. We came when it wasn’t too busy, service was super fast, and the food was insanely fresh. We come from Cincinnati and were driving through and the name caught my eye, and I was so glad of it. I got the shrimp pho and the egg rolls and both were piping hot and fresh. So glad I tried this place and next time I am in the area, I will for sure be coming again :)
Very clean and great customer service. Pho broth was basic but satisfying. We loved the pho noodles they were bouncy. We would definitely return.
This place is super clean! The desks are like mirrors. And the food and service are great.
I like the summer rolls, very much like the good ones I had before. Bahn mi sandwich bread is softer than others, but still great in flavor. And the broth of the pho is sweeter than what I had before, if you like something sweet, this might be the right one for you.
The service is friendly and responsive.
By far the best Chicken Pho I've had thus far. The broth was exquisite. Lots of meat and fresh veggies.
Spring Rolls were equally delicious.
For my water snobs....I got a cup to go.
Customer Service was fantastic. Definitely a new fav.
I paid $40 for moo goo gai pan, kung pao chicken and egg drop soup. The moo goo was average. My mom said the kung pao was good. Portions were very small. Each came with a small container of plain fried rice. I'm glad I checked my order while I was in the car as they initially gave me Mongolian beef instead of the moo goo. At any rate I'm still baffled as to why my order was so much. No menus in the store and we ordered over the phone using menus we saw posted. I would not recommend. The place is clean. The counter person seemed a bit irritated but nice. I asked for sugar snap peas in my moo goo. There were none. The only good thing I ate was the egg drop soup however it had a slightly funky after taste.
See pic of $15 moo goo below.
EDIT
Well u can see from their reply how unprofessional and rude this place is from their response. They didn't do me any favors by giving me something I didn't order. I don't eat beef and gave it the homeless drug addicts in front of the store. I was being kind when I said the moo goo was average. I'm not entirely sure it was chicken. Yeah there are too many GOOD places to eat in this area to deal with their mediocre food and nasty attitude. Taste of China is excellent for Asian food with generous portions and friendly service. I don't mind paying for good food but the experience here was garbage. What the pho was more like what the phuk. ???? BAD BUSINESS. Stay away from this lousy place!
I figured that I might be in trouble when I saw both Vietnamese and Chinese food on the menu, and I was was right. Have you ever had coffee that's weak or watery? Well, in a similar way, the broth at What The Pho lacks the depth and richness of top notch Pho. That being said, the place is super clean, and the staff is kind and attentive. The prices are reasonable. The menu is modest in both the Vietnamese and Chinese options, buy hey, having the two gives you some variety, right? If you want Chinese food and your friend wants Vietnamese food, What The Pho provides the comprimise you're looking for.
Great tasting food and even better customer service. Staff are super hospitable and welcoming. Their menu has something for everyone from classic Vietnamese cuisine, Thai, and American Chinese style food. Their lunch special is a steal for $8.99, which definitely worth checking out.
Meals are hearty, filling, and delicious!
This place was amazing ???? the customer service was SO nice and the restaurant itself is very clean. They have vegan pho, which is amazing. The veggie/vegan soups all have soy based fake meat and the veggie broth was so rich. Definitely in my top 10 favorite places in Indy.
