Last night was our first night at What's Up Pub. We were extremely disappointed, definitely a one and done.
My husband and I met another couple who arrived 15 minutes before us, they were seated and left to wait. They were never approached by a waitress, never provided a menu, or water. When my husband and I arrived we waited another 25 minutes while multiple waitresses walked back-and-forth, again, never approaching us or asking if we had been helped. Staffing did not appear to be an issue. One of us finally had to flag a server down for menus, water, and a drink. Two of us ordered peach mules. When our drinks arrived they tasted nothing like a mule. We asked the waitress for ginger beer to mix with the peach liquor that we were served. When she brought us the "ginger beer " it was clear and tasted like lime soda water. It definitely was not ginger beer and the waitress even said, "This is the closest thing we have." I sat there confused thinking why not just say you can't make a mule because you don't have the correct/main ingredient instead of giving us something we didn't order. Next, the food, I ordered cheese nachos which came with olives, lettuce, and tomatoes which tasted dirty like they were picked right off the vine and thrown on the food. Oh, and NO cheese on my "cheese nachos".
Needless to say, the food was subpar, drinks were wrong, and the service was non-existent. Our waitress never made rounds to see if we needed more drinks or water, we had to flag her down each time. I don't understand today's generation, do they not understand that they're working for their tips. I can honestly say last night was the first time that I haven't never left a tip. The only positive thing I can say about this place is that the atmosphere was great. Do not recommend this place.
Taylor was our waitress. Very friendly. Took our orders right away and checked in on us. The burger was good. And my nephew really liked the BLT & fries. I loved the atmosphere. Will be back again.
I stopped in for lunch got the fish and fries with asparagus. generous portion of fish fries seasoned just right everything cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back.
Great food! Great servers! Great atmosphere! Went to pub & Grub with a couple of friends and had a great time. The server made great recommendations, the food was exquisite and the menu was packed with delicious options. Anyone looking to have a great lunch or a fantastic social/work gathering in the evening should really check this place out. 5 Stars and highly recommended.
We got western bbq burger. Not bad. Not great. Also got loaded tots. The grease was old and burnt tots were disgusting. Beer was cold though. First time in probably won’t go back.
Emily is just wonderful and a fantastic bartender! First time back after they've reopened and I missed it so much! Karaoke nights with Walker are the absolute best as well. Can't wait to return and try some food next time.
Do not go to this establishment they serve drinks that you don’t know where they got the alcohol. They also employ a staff that walks around with see through shirts no bra and nipple rings yet get mad at you for asking why that’s appropriate…. Do not go to this venue unless your ok with being band for asking why no bra or cops called for doing so. Ownership lets the alcoholic staff run the bar!!
