Recently have a had my MOT and service undertaken at this garage. I've had a fantastic experience and they have been very informative about the overall condition of my vehicle and anything that may need doing on the horizon. Happy to return for more future work!

Went for MOT. I had booked a slot but took them 3 hours to finish it and at the end they told me that my car failed on not working washers and wipers.
I personally checked it in front of a member of the staff and the wipers were working perfectly fine when driving the car. They rudely refused to change the MOT result and asked me to pay for a new one if I wanted the result to be changed.
On top of that they cancelled my appointment with not even one day notice.
One of the most unprofessional and rude behaviours I have experienced in my life. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Car was taken here by aa after breakdown an one repair was undertaken garage confimred they didn't want to realase car but aa made them. Fix didn't work so car had to go back. After requesting no more repairs completed I went to collect the car to find that the garage had run the battery down ( over the course of 4 days) when advising the garage of this. They washed hands and basically said it not their problem. I had pay more money to get the car recovered rather then drive it to my preferred garage which caused a further delay to repairs. When the recovered truck arrived the garage was given the wrong key. Whilst I was prepared to give the benefit of the doubt to garage as there especially a sub contractor and were great on the phone and explaining they were especially a sub contractor my experience with the wrong key and lack of help with the battery draining on there forecourt has let to negative review and I won't be recommending this garage. If they rely on book my garage or aa referrals can they be that busy without?
Edit: The garage has replied I car had a charged battery before arrival as the aa charged it before leaving my address. The car is due a service however this would take place as my normal garage which where I should have taken the car in the 1st place. If the situation had been different would I have a different opinion maybe but "You suggested that you had a 'mate' that could repair your car. This tells me all I need to know so wish you well with your efforts to have your vehicle repaired." But the above statement sound how well you were listening and how professional you really are. I also asked the garage if we could cut the aa out as the garage diagnostic fee was 50 and the aa want 100 the garage declined

I booked in my van for a major service and MOT, dropped the van off at 08:30 was told they do the service in the morning and MOT in the afternoon, van taken into workshop at 09:19 and the dashcam removed from windscreen at 09:20, Dashcam replaced at 11:23 then parked outside for my collection at 11:25 but I didn't receive a text message until 14:00. The van was in the same place from 11:25 until I arrived at 14:05.
MOT with advisory small chip nearside passengers windscreen this was professionally repaired months earlier.
I was not happy about the advisory and explained this, as it was professionally repaired months earlier but they said its only an advisory my interpretation of an advisory is that you keep
an eye on it and if it gets any worse have it repaired, how can I get it repaired if its been repaired. I did seek advice from 3 MOT stations they all said this should not have been an advisory as it was on the nearside and repaired.
My wife went to the garage the next day and asked can you explain why you removed the dashcam, they remove all dashcams so they can check the windscreen, the dashcam is placed alongside the mirror but they removed the dashcam not the holding bracket for the dashcam how bizarre, my wife also explained no air freshener so they gave her 2, she also mentioned about the screen wash they explained they put in a sachet but its down to the customer to top it up!!!
According to the print out they put in screen wash and an air freshener, they didn't... Makes me wonder what else they missed...
I was expecting this major service & MOT to take most of the day all in all 2 hours.

You said nothing about about DVSA to me nor my wife yet when you replaced the dash cam you drove it on the brake test so was that permitted!!! My dash cam only records when the engine is running you had no right to remove it unless you had something to hide.
According to DVSA laws providing it does not hinder the view from the driver's seat. If it does, then the device will need to be removed in order for the vehicle not to fail.(17 Sept 2014)
Is it illegal to have a dash cam on for an MOT?
The law related to dash cams states that they should not obstruct the field of view of the driver by more than 4cm in the swept area of the windscreen. If it does, the vehicle will fail its MOT.(18 Aug 2019) My dash cam was next to the mirror on the passengers side.
I repeat No air freshener & no screen wash I put in 1 Litre of water in my screen bottle so another lie from you.
As I said I went to 3 MOT stations and they all said the same thing it should not have been an Mot advisory as it was repaired - period.
You say I am a stickler for time as you put it, My wife came in the day after not the same day maybe a mistake from you or a lie!
I will repeat myself when I dropped of the van at 08:30 I was informed at reception major service in the morning & MOT in the afternoon yet all done within 2 hours in the morning.
Called to book in for front brake pads and discs.They fitted me in next day and was very efficient. The lady the office is lovely and couldn't have been more accommodating. Also came to less than the quote which is always nice ! Paperwork given for work completed with parts warranty. Happy customer! Highly recommended I will be using them again. Thank you.

Awful awful company! Scammers and should be shut down. Scam of a company, Charlotte on the desk is a
horrible rude women, I've been ringing everyday to ask about my car but never answered, I just wanted to know when it would be fixed as it's been 4 weeks,
and the man originally told us 10 days, which is fine I know things wait but we have not have been contacted for any updates. Had to drive over there to ask in person, they said they would let us know, they
never did. Rang them of a different number, they funnily enough answered, straight away Charlotte got very defensive and rude saying they've already told us it will be 6 weeks which they never, also said they
haven't been ignoring my calls, which they have, abusive and I wanted to speak with manager he said I would have to get my car toed back as they've not
going to fix it and leave it on the road, so 3 weeks with no car also we have been customers for years, and I've always been told they rip people off and
They was right, they've lost 4 customers. Disgusting to treat loyal customers
