I absolutely adore coming here! There is always something going on. The food is fantastic as well as the staff is so nice. The owners are wonderful people that have went out of their way to make this bowling alley/bar/music venue something that is welcoming to all people that come in. This place is something special to Youngstown. I love the aesthetic of the building as well as all the hard work that has went into making this place unique.
I will say that leaving the bathroom door open to the men's room was odd, because while I was eating I was looking at the security dudes feet while he was pooping. It's hard to not see right into the bathroom and I think for privacy reasons the doors should be shut.
Went to see A Short Walk to Pluto and it was FANTASTIC. What a show. If you ever get a chance to see this band it’s a must. If you ever want to see any band at Westside Bowl you have to go. What a great venue.
I went to this bowling alley for a Palmer Squares, Ballyhoo!, and Tropidelic concert! It was a great environment, a fun bowling alley that had plenty of space to relax between bands. I will definitely come back for another concert! It's a little hot in there so dress accordingly :)
Wow....excellent bartenders, really tasty foods, owners that support the arts...you cannot go wrong. Road trip worthy. What a fun destination. Highly recommend
I cannot say anything negative about the staff or the atmosphere at this venue! Everyone is very friendly and when my daughter and I go to shows there we always enjoy our time there. Food is great and the music is loud, what more can you ask for?
Coolest Place I Have Ever Seen Inside. The Owner Gave Me A Tour. Great Guy. He Was Very Nice To Me. The Barmaid Was Fantastic. Great Food As Well. Their Pizza Is Outstanding. Great Place To Eat Lunch or Dinner. I Will Be Back Soon.!!!!!
Very unique & awesome venue; a must-see place for anyone visiting the Youngstown area. Bowl a game or two while listening to live music, enjoying fantastic pizza and a wide selection of beer- including local & craft beers on tap. The sound quality & production for the live shows is top-notch. There's a separate bar/restaurant area connected to the main stage/bowling area and also a great little arcade. Something for everyone here!
More than just a bowling alley, a community for those who just need a place to hang. Good shows, calendar is book full of solid and interesting events, food is great and the beer is even better. I'll always recommend this venue to anyone looking for a chill spot in Youngstown
