There are only two tracks 4 and 3. 3 goes to Grand Central Terminal and 4 goes to New Haven.
I didn’t get to check out the town but there were a lot of small locally owned businesses that I will love to explore!
Very easy plentiful parking, great donut shop.
You can park in the visitor parking space, they will put a $5 parking ticket on your windshield wiper for you to pay. Free after 3pm and on weekends. They do have some EV parking spaces
Cozy, historical train station - nice place to wait for the train -inside or out. - Coffee and morning bagel - or afternoon treats available - I have been using this station since the early sixties and it is always pleasant and part of the Westport experience
Good indoor waiting area with two coffee shops however poor placement of vending machines and outdoor seating.
Irish for this station is "Cathair na mart" as there is a Westport in Western Ireland.
The announcement's at the station are extremely annoying/ they repeat them every 30 seconds. THAT'S NOT OK ????.!!!!!
Nice small station...restaurants nearby!
I like this place. Very quiet, cozy and beautiful ... it's beautiful in all seasons!
