The food is great and reasonably priced. The green chili is yummy and very ????️ spicy! The people are friendly but the waitress… oh the waitress Andrea was an absolute DELIGHT! She was so cheerful/ friendly, did an amazing job and thought of everything we needed even before we asked! She made sure our orders were right and cooked correctly BEFORE she brought it out to us. Fast service too! Best waitress ever! I will definitely be making the drive from Colorado Springs to eat here again! I will ask to sit in Andrea’s section as well!
Nice place. Really enjoyed the server and wonderful rock and roll music playing on the radio. Fun rock and roll decor. Food was very good. Thick bacon. Fat sausage. Glad we can in early. Place really started to pack up. Fast service.
Western omelette restaurant is a charming restaurant that has the 50s atmosphere and style. The staff are extremely nice and very helpful. The food is exceptionally well and you can find a large variety of breakfast items along with lunch and dinner. Dislocation is extremely popular and if you come at their peak hours you may not be able to get a table when we arrived there were only two tables open. People came and went as we ate and it remained full for nearly an hour. The charm of the '50s restaurant is quite extraordinary as you may have to use the restroom to find out that it is outside.
Across the street from Fountain Middle School, this unassuming exterior, where you find the bathrooms on the north end of the building, takes you into a true diner feel once inside. From black and white checkerboard floors to similar walls to a Coca-Cola fan and records adhered to the ceiling, your eyes are drawn from one thing to another. Marilyn Monroe and Elvis are hung all around. Overall this restaurant is clean and has menus that are made of a durable and easy to wipe martial, however, water staining on the tile ceiling can be found and the syrup container has plenty of wear and tear. From countertop seating to black upholstered booths to red or purple tabletops (or red tops with local advertisements and the restaurant logo) surrounded by wooden chairs with either red or blue seats, or black metal chairs with maroon seats/backs - this place is well suited for singles, families and larger parties. On the table you will always find: pepper, salt, jellies, fake and real sugar. Syrup (regular or sugar free), Ketchup and your choice of chili will be brought upon request.....45% vegetable oil whipped spread is brought with your pancake, turned upaide down on the stack -less chance it will fall during transport. An ATM and a few TVs can be found within the dining room. Service is friendly and food is quick! You can tell they have regulars! It was my first time here and they kindly brought me all 5 chili sauces to try, showing me mild to on fire. If you enjoy spicy, make sure you go for the hot green option. The waitresses seem to be true team players, but a little more communication or observation is key as they had moments were something was already completed for a table but the one assigned for the section was unaware. They wear (red or black) t-shirts with the restaurant logo. Enter the very sweet, rich and chocolaty hot chocolate with sky high whipped topping.....while too much for me, I'm glad I tried it, and others may enjoy. The scrambled eggs, took me home and the bacon seemed to either be locally purchased or at least higher quality, as the flavor and thickness were on point!
Thanks to my son we're regulars he as well as us love this spot for all our breakfast/lunch cravings and to top it off the staff are the most friendliest we've visited over a dozen times and never disappointed by a thing! It's always wonderful and we try new things on the menu every time we come and never disappointed. Everything we've tried is so delicious and my kids favorite thing to do is sit at the bar and watch all the yummy looking food coming out of the kitchen and it gives us ideas on what to order next time. We absolutely recommend visiting you'll definitely leave happy and sooooo full trust me!!
*I captioned the pictures with what we ordered
Wonderful hidden gem. Small town feel, excellent service and food! Green Chile is spicy and wonderfully flavored. Large portions and reasonably priced. Overally done sleep on this restaurant huge menu with something to please everyone!
Place was delicious and portions are huge!!! Inside seating is bigger than it looks and nice clean restaurant. Highly recommend anyone going here snd trying it out. Update........just tried it again and got the breakfast tacos!!!
This was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in Colorado. Homemade chili Relleno, and the green chili was legit! It tasted homemade!
Their burritos are the size of my forearm! There was a regular crowd in there just raving about the food and telling what to order. The place is packed, and everyone is having a good time.
Service was friendly, efficient, and you felt like you were at a friend’s house!
Homemade pies were in the cooler, and I had a piece of the lemon meringue, which was to die for. I stumbled on this place because I was at an event across the street at the middle school.
If I’m driving by fountain, I will not hesitate to stop again. It’s a total hidden gem and gets my highest recommendation! WOW!
