I have been a patient at Westbourne Grove Medical Centre for over 10 years and have always been treated with respect, kindness and professionalism by all of the staff there. Doctor C. Perera in particular is fantastic. She takes the time to explain and talk through questions or concerns, is very empathic and compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. I've always been able to get an appointment quickly. I have nothing but commendation for this very busy but caring surgery.
We have been registered with Westbourne Grove for over 20 years and had nothing but excellent experiences, with doctors, nurses and staff. The staff has always been helpful, even through the pandemic. The nurses are amazing. The doctors, especially PC, are always friendly and knowledgeable, despite I can only imagine a heavy workload of patients. Most recently, our daughter had tonsillitis and Doctor AN was great, remote consultations do work in many cases. As an aside, the pharmacy next door, Baywood chemist, is equally good.
Great doctors and I always get an appointment v quickly. Reception staff are so good and despite being overworked and sometimes dealing with patients who are rude, they are always v kind to me. I've been coming here for over 45 years. PLEASE DON'T CLISE!!!!

There is usually a managers details to speak to on a practices website but your only able to call the main number, so i’m not sure where to write too. I just wanted to say i’ve had a really unpleasant experience trying to book a GP appointment just now and felt like your receptionist was really aggressive towards me. I felt the receptionist spoke to me in really rude and hostile manner. I am experiencing chronic fatigue and you would hope someone working in a GP surgery might be self aware enough to treat phone calls and consultations with some care. I felt the receptionist was rude and loud and didn’t listen at all to what i was saying, she shouted i’ve booked you in now go. I had to raise my voice which is hard to do with my condition at the moment, just so i could ask a question before she hung up. My fatigue exhausts me and i felt like crying. This is the first time i’ve been really unwell in a long while and the first time i’m using my local GP and really hope the experience and care for patients at the practice will improve or someone can reach out and talk to me about this.
Looking at all the other reviews I can see clearly there is one problem with this centre and it’s the receptionists. I have never met such rude and sarcastic women in my life. Take this as a formal complaint as I want them fired. They should be happy they still have jobs after the amount of awful reviews from patients. Learn how to speak to people properly and with empathy and most importantly patient confidentiality instead of shouting it across the whole of London. Who trained them??
