Sometimes you find a really good, knowledgeable, fair, customer oriented business and you feel that you need to review it. Something that you do not ordinarily. But this one with my few dealings with makes me happy that friends recommended to me. They deserve every star you can give them.
The team at West Street Auto are awesome! Been coming here for years and they’re the best. They always do both fast and thorough work (something you rarely see) and the price is consistently fair. And their new location rocks!
We've taken both our cars here for almost 10 years. Tom and Brett have been nothing short of wonderful to work with. I won't take our cars anywhere else to be serviced if there's a problem because their service is that excellent. I've had other mechanics tell us we need to replace this or that during a routine oil change, but turns out that specific maintenance did not need to be done after talking with Tom and/or Brett. They know what they are talking about and also take the time to explain why something needs to be repaired. They are genuine, hard working, honest, fair men that aren't in it to get rich but to help people doing something they love. They've recently moved their business to Union, and we will gladly follow them there!
I was recommended to go here from JJ's Variety. Prices were reasonable! They fixed what was needed without adding more to the biĺl. I was able to drop off my car and pick it up when I available.

In a panic, after getting bad news while getting new tires and alignment (somewhere else) I happen to stop here because it was where my previous mechanic shop was. I had no idea it had changed over until I arrived (with NO appointment). Let me just tell you that these guys listened so intently to all of my concerns, allowed me to ask tons of questions with so much patience (I was a little anxious) and then took the time to actually fit me in on the spot and try to ease my mind (which they did). I am so grateful that there are not only great people out there, but also great businesses (this place having both!!). This is not the closest place I could go to, but after my experience here this week I won't be going anywhere else. They went above and beyond, were more than fair and just gave a great experience, I cannot recommend them any higher!

Been going to West St for many years now. Never disappointed with the service. Tom and Brett are always friendly, knowledgeable and fair. They will soon be moving to a new location on Rt 17 in Union, and will have much more flexibility with more bays and lifts. Thanks for the great service guys! Looking forward to seeing the new place.
My teenage sons car broke down on a weekend, while he was traveling alone an hour and half away. They were able to help us out and give us a diagnosis. Tom was helpful, respectful and honest. He went above and beyond with trying to advocate for me and give us guidance, as our issue involved working with a potential recall with a dealership. You could tell he truly cared. Having little car knowledge, he took the time to explain things. If I lived local, I wouldn’t hesitate to do further business with him. Thanks Tom and Brett
