Great car park with brilliant views. Totally free over the off peak season.
Most of the bad reviews here are from people who didn’t read the signage. It’s a pay and display car park, totally separate from The Bowgie.
It’s expensive during the peak season but it has to be to control the huge number of tourists who flock to this part of Cornwall.
Good car park. Expensive price when the one around the corner is £6 for a day. Go to Poly Joke car park instead.
Not motor home friendly. We saw other reviews on Google with pictures of a motorhome in the car park so we decided to go down with ours. There is now a 'no motorhome' sign on the entrance which is annoying after making our way there. Other than that. Great views and location for all other modes of transport!
We drove into the car park up the road, saw it was £6 for the day so thought we would compare with this one. We parked up and I went to the pay area and saw it was £12.50 for the day. Returned to the car and drove back to the Polly Joke car park. As a pensioner I don’t know how the owners of this site sleep at night. Absolute robbers. Spoilt what was a lovely visit to the area. We won’t be back to either the car park or Bowgie Inn
My son dropped me as near to our destination as possible. He then parked car. Placing my blue badge in window . He’s dyslexic and assumed my badge would be ok. I’ve just spoken to the rudest man who spoke to me a 60 yr old disabled lady like a criminal disgusting. I will go to court I will go to the papers.
The only good thing I can say is it does have a lovely veiw.
We are now in the same boat as many on this review page and we are facing a fine of £170.
We waited for 12mins in this car park while (changed a baby) we waited for someone a pack up and leave that was parked in the pub car park never realising it has camera and you are charged as you enter.
Well we will be avoiding in the future.
My opinion but a barrier gate on so people can't make this mistake but I suppose they wouldn't make money on silly fines then.
A little pricey but a great view and a good costals walk to the beach. One of the pay machines was cash only on our visit.
Reasonably priced parking spectacular cliff top walks and access to beach .... pub with huge garden to cool off afterwards...
And all dog friendly... bonus
