For real authentic fish and chips at a nice price. This is the place. The taste and portion size is always the same. Never changes. You get exactly the right amount and it's always finished right to the last chip. Nothing wasted unlike other chippies where they give you bucket load of chips and the majority of that goes in the bin. Not here at West Park fisheries. Wether it's a fish butty. Fish and chips. A decent portion size. The curry sauce is to die for. A real chippy is this place. Their chips are spot on. Not too thick or overly done. Everything here is absolutely spot on. Can't fault this place at all. Consistency is key. Alot of places don't have that. One day it's fabulous. The next it's atrocious. But West Park fisheries maintains it's consistency day in and day out. My number one place for Fish and chips in the North.. definitely recommend to the people who haven't tried them. You will not be disappointed. And if you're looking for quantity and not quality. Then go elsewhere as there are plenty of places that cater for quantity.
I've been to plenty of fish and chip establishments in my years and passing through Bradford to our destination we decided to stop off as it was quite busy (don't mind waiting for decent food). We wasn't disappointed, wow absolutely beautiful fish and chips and curry sauce from another dimension!!! Diamond in the rough!!! We will be back ????
This place was the absolute best hands down,but recently a new guy is over frying the fish and the new dark haired lady at the till panics at the site of 3-4 customers stood waiting even though its only a small place. The curry sauce i got last week was a disgrace! Big lump of curry sauce not stirred. They need to pick up the pace otherwise all the hard work oc the family will be lodt unfortunately.
Just a small traditional chippy, with good service, reasonable prices & perfectly cooked fish & chips. Unfortunately it isn't local to me but always look forward to them when going to visit my sister ????
Thanks for the batter!! I thought I was getting a juicy scallop got a dried circle of batter with a very hard barley there potatoe ????♀️ huge let down.
A long term customer of Mother Hubbards, I felt the quality of the fish and chips going down hill a bit.
This place reminds me of the good old days with the fish and chips being wrapped in paper etc. Won't be going back to Mother Hubbards for a while now!
