Not reviewing this garage based on its craftsmanship or handiwork, but based on the storage of a disabled vehicle left for dead roadside. Under different circumstances this would have been a more pleasant interaction, alas we are talking about my life, so no go on the pleasantries. The storage bill was ridiculous, rear hitch step and running boards bent up. But they did let me get my stuff out of it after hours. Gave them the keys and told him to keep it.
Charged an arm and a leg for a motorcycle tow. Was on site when the bike needed to be towed. Charged $416.00 for a 7 mile tow and one day storage fee. Made rude comments upon picking up the bike to really put the cherry on top. Hard to access the storage lot and the shop if you have a trailer. Shop smells like a dirty ash tray. Very unprofessional, very unsatisfied. Limp your vehicle home before you call them for a tow.
Craig is an amazing mechanic... always gets the job done very friendly and super reasonable, he also make sure that he is very informative as to what is wrong what needs fixed and how to go about it... His wife Deb who works there and does the billing and stuff is super organized and on top of it all... They are very friendly and caring people and extremely reasonable... I highly and strongly recommend West End Repairs as the #1 garage to go to around the Dushore area...
Heroes and miracle works work here. We were out of towners whose alternator failed on a small road after hours. With barely a signal I was able to contact a dispatcher who said they'd try to find someone to help us out. 15 minutes later Craig, the owner of West End arrives, assesses the issue and escorts us back to our cabin. The next day, they are able to find the alternator we needed, tow us in, and repair us to full functionality by the end of the day. These guys were truly amazing, and very friendly too. Lucky to have met them.
Walked out to my truck parked in my apartment complex lot and discovered I had a flat tire. Next, walked over to West End Repairs to see about getting the flat reinflated because the thought of laying in the ice and snow to fix the flat did not appeal to me. A West End Repair mechanic recovered, fixed, and replaced the tire in light speed. Like Tony the Tiger says "They're Great"
They did inspect my car,but I had a 1-1:30 appt and they took 2 drive up people before they took my car in..so I was there an extra hour or so...today Feb.19..i called last week to see how much to have my car diagnosed,she said 50..so I took it in Friday,.she said we will call you to give you an estimate before we go any farther..I finally had to call them..I get my car today. I ask for my bill. And WOW $119.25..and still don't know what's wrong with my car..she said it was 75 dollars an hour labor and the diagnosis..I never would have gone to them if I was told plus labor up front. And she got snotty with me...now I don't have a car to drive and I spent an extra $ 75 that is taking food out of my mouth. Thanks.
Fixed a flat tire for me on the same day. Ford dealer in town too busy to help. Very nice people there. Already recommending to others.
What great guys, honest and knew their stuff, Craig was the best!! Will recommend them to all.
