Quote was fair. Got to it and scheduling was a pain. Okay fine...life happens. But a day late is a bit much. Saw some things I was not happy about, let it go, not like I can stop it in the middle of the move. I'd appreciate an honest answer about what happened to the theater chair
Thought I would look past old ratings and give a local moving company a chance. That turned out to be a huge mistake. Long story short, these guys are bad news. I would only use them if you don't care about the stuff you are moving. The workers discussing illegal activities within earshot of other folks doesn't look good on the business either. Never again. NEVER.
We scheduled a move with them. We were so excited to find a reasonably priced company to move us in on a weekend. We called and confirmed two times. We called today, two days before our scheduled move date and they said they never would have scheduled us for a Sunday. I called and eventually got hung up on two times and the. They started forwarding me to voicemail, refusing to talk to me. They did not apologize. They did not try and reschedule us or offer us a different day. Nothing. They just said they never would have scheduled a move on a Sunday.
Don't fall in the trap of cheap moving quotes / cheap moving. No body showed up on the day of the moving and got a call saying that they will be here the next day. Next day packers showed up ~3:00pm and worked from 2 hours only. Next day, loaders showed up before packers and started loading things up which were unpacked. Obviously stuff did not fit in one truck and so they got another truck to load remaining stuff and I was told that they will reshuffle the stuff so it can be moved in just one truck. On the delivery day, just one truck showed up and I was told that every thing in that truck. But I discovered that most of the stuff that was loaded on the second truck was not there. So I contracted Mike / West Coast office several times and I was told that he will ship the remaining stuff. I never got that stuff. After repeated phone calls / text messages, they told me that they will notify the police if we continues to call/ text them to get our stuff. STAY AWAY!!
We were literally moving last minute and I must've called a dozen companies who were all booked. This was the only company who was available so we went with them. Our moving guys were Maurice and Barry who were awesome, very professional and gentle with our things. Thank you guys!
We did have some scheduling and timing issues that made us nervous, but at the end it worked out. I'd recommend this company.
A+....West Coast Movers relocated the Newborns In Need volunteer center. I can tell you that it was a HUGE job with many heavy shelving units, cutting tables and a boat load of tubs and boxes. Kevin, Ricky, Curtis and Gary were amazing. This team of four packed and unpacked at an alarmingly quick pace, I really was astounded. KY3 wanted to do a story on our move and I had to call them to come much earlier than our planned time because the move was going so fast I feared there would be nothing for them to film once they got here! These men were very professional, courteous and kind. All items were moved without breakage. Without hesitation I would recommend this local moving company!
I wish I can give these guys more then a 5 star rating. Eric, Kenny, and Tim helped move my husband and I from a third floor apartment to a duplex. They were amazing!! They worked hard, were very gentle with our furniture, and and lets us know what they were moving and when. We have some old furniture that were hand me downs. When they would move something that had a scratch or ding they would let us know before moving it. Every piece of furniture was wrapped in a blanket. At the end of the day nothing was damaged, scratched or harmed in anyway. Mike the boss came by at the end of the move to check up on us, how we were doing, how the move was and how the crew did. Mike even called that evening to make sure we were ok, everything was ok and welcome us to our new home. These guys were professional, well mannered and made sure we were happy with there service. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend these guys for anyone's move. I will DEFINITELY be calling them again for my future moves!!! Thank you West Coast Movers for helping my husband and I make our move easy and pleasant!!!!
Got a price quote from two men and a truck for roughly 500 dollars. West Coast however decided for the same job it was worth about 185. The two guys who came, Allen and Maurice, were awesome. They went hard on the move and these guys were efficient and seemed like they were having a good time. Cracking jokes laughing. I will for sure be using West Coast again when I move in a few years!
