I was referred to George a few months ago when my old diesel Land Rover produced a serious fuel leak from the high pressure injection pump. These are Bosch VE pumps and only so many people know how to repair and retune them properly. George is one of those people. If you have a problem with your diesel, he probably knows how to fix it. Because he is good, there may be a wait for you to get into the shop. As they say in the business: Good, fast, or cheap... pick two.
I cannot recommend George enough. He was easy to talk with, willing to explain in detail what he was doing, and even kept the worn parts from the pump to show me what he replaced. A+++ service.
Very bad. I've been a diesel mechanic for about 30 years and recently I performed a complete rebuild on an injector pump and simply needed it bench tested. I brought it to this place as it's the only place locally to perform this test. What happened next was insane. I told them 3 times that I only wanted it tested. But, as soon as he got his hands on the pump he completely tore it down, destroying my rebuild. Then after a week and a half he informed me that he needed to rebuild it before testing it and was "putting together an estimate". It was already rebuilt! Same thing happened to a friend of mine when he brought in the same style pump that he purchased from the UK...professionally rebuilt!! He tears into every pump that he's sent, even newly rebuilt ones! Then he charges you something in the neighborhood of 800 dollars to "rebuild" it. He also informed me that he wouldn't test a pump that HE didn't rebuild. Ridiculous. It's a scam.

Don’t trust this shop. The owner is able to regurgitate information and specs, but in application something is lost. When you confront him about work that was done incorrectly he will blame whichever tech HE hired and. HE assigned to that job.
And when you hire him you’ll be under the impression that he will do the work. Then, unbeknownst to you he has someone else do the work.
Cost me nearly $6000 and 2 months without my truck. Then the work wasn’t even performed correctly. Head gasket was the main reason it went in. It was leaking a month later. I drove the truck easy because I never had any faith in their work. Ended up trading the truck in on a new one. Really wasn’t planning on that but I need a reliable truck for my job.
Bottom line: Stay away from this shop unless you don’t mind price gouging and Shotty work .
George is a very good mechanic, whereas other shops couldn’t figure out the on going problem, he was able to. Finally my truck runs great after waisting thousands from other mechanics.
I took my pickup in for repairs. Waited one week and did not hear from them.
Went in to see if they had anything to report. They said they ran a diagnosis and would have to check each cylander to see if the glow plugs were bad. The cost would be approximately $800. Also they wanted to check a sensor that could be the problem. I find it odd that they never bothered to contact me with this.
I paid $215 and took my pickup home.
