Best KPortal Reviews
While stay at the Quality Inn nearby we saw this Greek restaurant, read the reviews & decided to try it. I'm so glad we did, the food was "Amazing" I had the falafel sandwich & my partner had the gyro salad. Huge portions, excellent flavor, fast service & the lemonina was YUM YUM!! Definitely coming here again ????????????????????
Very professional authentic establishment. Everything is fresh. The customer service was on point. I definitely be back.
I ordered the Beef Shawarma sandwich, A Beef kabob skewer and a Limonana.
Fantastic taste! We got the chicken shawarma which they make in house along with the beef. They also make the wraps as well. Everything was so delicious. I cannot wait to go back. The service was excellent. She explained everything and even let us try a sample to make sure we wanted it in our wrap.
My girlfriend and I ate here recently and the food was great! I wasn’t a huge fan of the falafel but the beef shawarma sandwich was awesome and the fries were amazing!
My only complaint is that it’s a bit pricey for one person to eat. I think about getting lunch here often but I have to pass because I can’t justify spending $22 on a sandwich and fries for lunch.
I wish they would offer a lunch meal with half a sandwich and a side for $12-14. I would eat here all the time.
$15, beef shawerma bowl. Not pictured is the 6 piece falafel for $5. The falafel is great. The crust on them reminds me of toasted ravioli in the best way. I just wanted more components to the bowl. Two very tasty looking (I say sarcastically) pieces of beef shawerma, rice, a sauce drizzled on top, and a dusting of a brown spice. Quantity is good, definitely enough for a meal. Flavor’s fine, what you expect. Sauce is nutty, strong, and slightly bitter. Def a good sauce, but I just wish there was more, like, vegetables or something to break up the monotony of 4 ingredients.
Store front shop with excellent quality food - had the Falafel wrap and it was super fresh & delicious- fries made in house and well seasoned
I saw this place as I was heading to a different business and decided to stop and try it on the way home. Walking in, I immediately noticed West Bank Street East is not a fancy place visually but was clean and functional. There were multiple vertical rotisseries cooking various meats and the aroma was mouth watering ???? I got the beef shawarma and a side of hummus. Both were excellent, the beef was savory and the hummus was some of the best I've tried in many years. The staff was helpful and friendly which is always greatly appreciated. They were kind enough to be in one of my pictures of their fine business. If you have a craving for shawarma and hummus, stop by West Bank Street East and enjoy the delicious food they serve. Now that I know they are there, I want more! Until next time, Cheers!
My family stopped by on a Sunday evening for dinner when the store did not look busy. The food was excellent and everyone liked what they got. Unfortunately, it took forever to get our food (four takeout combo plates). We ordered at 6:20 or 6:25, and it wasn't ready until after 7pm, which seems excessive for street food. Meanwhile a group that arrived and ordered after us got served first. The small dining room was also about 90 degrees and sweltering hot, so we mostly waited around on the sidewalk out front. We were about to give up and ask for a refund, then finally the food order got ready.
