I've been having lunch here for sometime now and I very highly recommend this lovely shop. The freshly made bread rolls are THE BEST, I often have a large Turkey, Tuna or Egg salad bap. There is a selection of white, brown or granary and of course, baguettes. They are always so tasty, filling and reasonably priced. The plain bread rolls are delicious as are the Cornish pasties. The ladies are lovely, so welcoming and friendly too. Really, really nice place.
Don’t wanna lie that they have very nice and delicious bakery products but not all good. Service is good but seems there’s hygiene issue. Lovely location. Overall it’s ok.
Went for day out to market harborough, saw this bakery with q's outside door so joined it. Bought apple donut, synthetic cream one and fresh cream éclair. Éclair good, apple donut extremely dry, apple nice though and the other synthetic cream one too dry to even try to eat , it was terrible! I did get a lovely chicken and mushroom slice
Absolutely love this place, the staff really care about the customer's, always friendly and good food! The bread is fresh everyday and the shop has a really nice atmosphere. Myself and my family have come here for years and it’s great to see it still supported locally in the town. X
Bought a jam doughnut and a slit doughnut. Very little jam in the jam doughnut. Both doughnuts were hard. Morrisons bakery does a better job - much as we like to support local business

Suggest to try it on Saturday
If they have a large sliced Wholemeal I like it ! If no sliced I wait till Saturday and get it in Melton and slice it myself less perfect than the slicing machine but tastes the same!
Usually buy a couple of sausage rolls to eat in Northampton!
After eating the cheapest, nastiest breakfast roll money could buy, I chose to stick with what was good. Sadly burnt is the best they do these days.
