Wonderful place, lots of history, owned by the National Trust I believe. Particularly loved the magnificent greenhouse and the extensive grounds. Will certainly be visiting again.
Wentworth Court is one of the residential blocks for overnight stay. The rooms are quite basic, but are always clean & tidy, and have everything you need. Plus, its free - what more can you ask for???!!! ????....

Stunning, absolutely stunning!
As I sat on a bench between perfectly trimmed hedges with a house reminiscent of Longleat hall behind me and around 30 deer of all ages in front of me. Some big deer even stood on their hind legs and ripped leaves of the trees like dinosaurs!. It made me feel so proud to be a Yorkshire man learning about the history and walking the acres of grounds, a definite bucket list must for all right up there with Roach Abbey for Yorkshire hidden treasures.
WiFi could be better and some rooms are next to noisy boiler. But other than that rooms are comfortable with ensuite
Basic, clean accommodation. Noisy plumbing! Terrible food and awful catering service.
