Wow, this place was a mess! First of all, it is hard to even get into the parking lot because there are medians in the roads so you cannot access the entrances unless you are driving a certain direction on those roads. Same with getting out of the lot... can't go North onto Redwood. Then it was confusing to figure out where we order, where you pickup, etc. If you order on a kiosk (not my preference because I had specific questions) then you walk towards pick-up but that puts you in the mobile order/delivery line. But there was no one even present to take an order at a register in person (but ordering there also leads you to the mobile order/delivery) line. Meanwhile there is another line forming inside the wall on the other side of pick-up. They were losing orders, messing up orders, couldn't keep up, couldn't keep track of which burgers were being made by the chef, etc. The kiosk does not provide a receipt (nor by email nor in person), so when my order showed up on the screen and then moved to "ready" (but it wasn't), and then disappeared (like the family's in front of me), I had no receipt to prove I had paid and to recreate my order. I had picked a picture on the kiosk-- didn't even know the name of what I ordered for myself, let alone the customizations for my picky kids! It was a mess. It took at least 30 minutes to get our order. When we finally got food and sat down, I was disappointed in the food. The chicken seemed old. Same with the buns. Then there were no napkins at the condiments area, and hardly any ketchup. Had to get back in line to ask for those. An HOUR later we finally were done and left. The windows were filthy. Wow, not going back here anytime soon.
I have been eating here for 4 years. The food is always good. The staff is always top notch. I finally got a messed up order. The management immediately took care of it. They took responsibility and ownership.
It's so rare to see a restaurant or any business act with complete integrity and be ethical.
Employees and management are second to none.
It has been a while since I ate at this Wendys but save yourselves and NEVER Eat here!!!! On 8 March 2023 at 459pm. Not even dinner rush it was just starting and with no one in line I waited 10-15 minutes before getting help to place an order inside the store. Than the guy could not even understand a simple order the $6 biggie bag. We it took forever and my food was burnt. Yes they burnt and overcooked the Hamburger and all my food was cold. The fries were old overcooked and cold. Horrendous management!
Do not go here. Unless you would like to sit on the drive through for 30 minutes. Wasting your entire lunch break. This is the worst Wendy’s in the valley. They should fire everyone and just close this location down.
No matter how many times I go to this establishment, i.e. Wendy’s in Saratoga or have food delivered because some of us cannot leave our office to go get food. They always always screw up my order.. today I have had enough I ordered the chicken Parmesan salad. I received it with no chicken seriously it’s called a chicken Parmesan salad !!!
and then no sauces for the nuggets and the fries are petrified, old or deep-fried twice haven’t decided which one and it took almost an hour to get my food, somebody really needs to come and clean up the store and their quality. I worked for Wendys for 18+ years and this would never have been acceptable by any standards. This is the first review I have written about the Store, but this has been definitely at least the 20th time that the orders have been screwed up or I didn’t get what I paid for.
I ordered chicken nuggets and it tasted like they scrapped old hamburger bits and grease into the frying oil. Nuggets should taste like chicken. They should not offer little crunchy unknown bits and taste like old hamburger.
Tried to break $100 dollar bill on 2 Meals that were 22.75, got 64.25 back in change, all 5s and ones. Said they were out of 20’s?? Fries were half full and old and crusty. Worst fast food I have ever had hands down. Service was terrible. Took my $100 and took forever to get change back as well
Such a small thing that warmed my heart-
My (not so little) little one has food allergies which, wouldn't have been a concern if lunch had had been served at the time we went. It was about a 20 minute difference for lunch but we didn't have time to go somewhere else. She had to try something new on the breakfast menu which was something she shouldn't eat but it was less worse than other options as far as reactions that would occur. Concerned she might not be able to eat it at all and not having other alternatives (based on the dietary restrictions) I asked if I could buy just a plain biscuit when we got to the window. It seemed like don't really sell plain biscuits but, they were so kind about it and went above and beyond to do it compared to what I often see from fast food restaurants. Either it was not an item on the register or they weren't sure how to ring it up but they still made it work. I know it seems kind of trivial to write a review about but, it meant my daughter wouldn't have to go hungry for the next 3-4 hours when she was already hungry, and many fast food restaurants in the area are kind of so-so on either food quality and/or portions, or service so, I think this deserves a high five in form of a review.
