This Wendy’s location is ok, the service was pretty decent, the food was good but I do not like how Wendy’s looks now. It looks pretty bland.
I contemplated for days as to whether to comment or not. First, kudos for having the lobby open. I drove an extra 2.8 miles out of my way to Boardman Wendy's because the Wendy's on Market Street is apparently so profitable that they have no need to open their lobby to potential customers. Boardman Wendy's is not a well oiled machine. I waited for what seemed like forever, maybe 5 minutes in actuality, but the gal behind the counter seemed to be in training. My order (take out) contained a Frosty. The Frosty was set on the counter first, all the while beginning to melt as the rest of my order was being made. I watched as the sandwich for my order was given to another customer. The customer took it to their table, realized it was not what they ordered and returned it to the counter. The employee took the sandwich, set it aside and then hoping that I didn't notice, picked it back up to put it in the bag with the rest of my order, all the while the Frosty is still melting. I asked the manager to replace the sandwich, which she graciously did. All the while the Frosty continues to melt. Returning home we found that my wife's chicken sandwich, ordered with tomato and mayo only, had lettuce and mayo only, no tomato, and she was able to drink the majority of her Frosty.
After a long day of work grabbed a salad only to get home and couldn't even eat it... Chicken dry and hard no blue cheese like I asked some of the lettuce Browning just a total disappointment and waste of money
We showed up at 9:30 told to wait one moment, waited another half hour in the drive thru to see only one car at the second window and the workers sitting in side chilling talking while we were waiting. Ridiculous! don’t get a job if you don’t wanna work ppl
Memorial day 2024 spent over $60 on food we ordered 3 burgers that for some reason had 5 patties on them, we also order 2 kids meal a nugget meal an a taco salad. Later that night 5 of the 7 ppl who ate it came down with the same symptoms of food poisoning an the next day I came down with the same symptoms. I called to make a complaint about it an they had the nerve to tell me food poisoning don't kick in for 24hours after u ate the food not knowing Healthcare is my field of work so once I let her know that she say she will have another manager call me back ???? that was days ago still no call.
My family gets breakfast here from time-to-time as a treat. This morning I brought home $20 worth of food (2 sausage gravy biscuits, 1 bacon egg and cheese meal, and two orders of french toast sticks) that we had to throw most of it away because things were uncooked or partially cooked. Both sausage gravy biscuits looked disgusting (see images) so we didn’t even try, egg was not cooked in the sandwhich and bun burnt to a crisp, French toast hot on outside and still cold in the middle. The only thing that got eaten was the fries. Very disappointed.
Fries were okay. Not the warmest, but okay. Spicy chicken sandwich was small. Definitely smaller than they used to be. Must be part of the shrinkflation going on. There was a not so happy employee in the back. Load enough for everyone in the lobby to hear.
Ordered on the mobile app that said the lobby was open later (before 10pm) walked up minutes before 10pm and it was already locked. Had to go through the drive thru line which was long and wait 15 minutes! The only plus side is the girl at the first window was able to give us our food because we ordered ahead but when we pulled away the food was all wrong! The line was ridiculously long to go back through to say hey, wrong stuff. Sent off feedback and never heard anything from anyway.
It was not good food, definitely not the food we ordered and not worth waiting the initial 15 minutes let alone longer to correct it. This had previously been a decent Wendy's because we can't visit the one in Salem at all it's a complete nightmare but now we add this one to the list of- don't go!
