Took driver 40 minutes after she left to order food. Got approved for refund from door dash but never received it. Been trying to communicate with Wendy's and door dash. Keep getting the run around. GM even yelled at me instead of hearing the entire situation. So he could understand my frustration. Spent over $51 dollars on order to not even get half of what I ordered. Funny thing Is why did it take driver 40 minutes after she left the store to bring me my food. When I live 6 blocks away.
We did a mobile order because it's always easier. When we went up to the drive-thru, the lights were all off and after about 5 mins we pulled forward to the window where we waited for another 4 minutes. There were 2 people standing at the counter helping an employee get food. When the one finally came to the window, they tried giving me a different order. I was told that they just got on and didn't know what was happening. When they finally figured it out there was nobody behind me and they asked me to move forward but there was nowhere to go. When the person in front of me moved, was asked again to move forward and I asked if I could wait there since I was already given the wrong order. They shut the windows in my face and didn't say a word. When the manager finally got off the phone they came to the window and asked what I was waiting for. I explained the situation and was able to get my food and everything, but it was a terrible experience and I will not be coming back.
Customer service and speed can honestly vary, it really depends on who works there. I've had it be fast and great. Or wait 30 minutes on a meal and have people who don't entirely care, it'd probably be a one star but the few people who actually are friendly and nice there bump it up to a 2 star but on average the service is slow and not great.
Wendy's is a decent value for fast food. I tried to use the app for additional deals when it actually works. I have had to delete it and reinstall it a couple of times. My biggest complaint about Wendy's is that their buns are not toasted, and they are often crumbly and a bit dry. Wendy's would be my go-to fast food place if they toasted their buns or something. The dry buns are off-putting.
I just went through the drive through. there was a car pulled ahead waiting for their order when i pulled up to the window. They were gone when the drive thru had me pull up.
I pulled up, waited 15 mins. I get out of my car to go in. The person was bringing out bags for me and the car behind me. I asked about my drink. He went back in.
After 2 minutes, I decided to leave. I wasn't waiting any more for my drink.
I get home and the order was incorrect. The burger was not how i ordered it.
i typically avoid wendys in the cedar rapids area when there is more than 2 vehicles waiting in the drive thru because they typically are so slow.
After spending $13 on a medium fry and a double burger, considering the wait time, and then not getting a drink without having to wait who knows how long, and then finding out my order was wrong when i got home, I would like a refund. Not a store credit or a gift card.
Took over 20 minutes to get food. No line in drive thru and lobby had one group sitting at a table. One person cooking while 4 other clowns standing around on their phones. News flash, keep it up and you will forever make minimum wage.
This Wendy's is basically what you expect out of a fast food place. I went through drive-thru and the people didn't seem to understand what I was asking. Didn't seem to be very concerned. I got my food quickly and it tasted what I expected fast food to taste like. I gave it a three because of fast food places are are basically a three at their best.
Ordered 2 Dave's single cheese burgers with just ketchup and onion and extra cheese and when I got home to eat the burgers were dry like they were cooked over an hour prior to me ordering so from now on I'll ask for everything cooked to order. I'll try that before determining if I'll ever return to that place. This is my opinion so establish your own opinion and enjoy!
