Was truly surprised when I found out that Wendy’s uses fresh eggs for their morning biscuits and not frozen egg patties! Extra work for the employee(s) preparing them—-though, well worth it, because, the freshness of the egg can be tasted—job well done) Love their breakfast biscuits , and their fresh prepared beef patties for their burgers! Customer Service has improved at this location, and this location is very convenient!
Sometimes this location is a hit or miss.
They seem pretty busy, and the Front of house almost always seems overwhelmed. A lot of the people working on the line? Are multitasking from fryers to the line and the cashiers aren’t able to handle ordering at 3rd party orders. The management team here is great! But I notice that the team needs to rely on those extra bodies to assist.
The restaurant being understaffed could be what’s contributing to poor guest experience because of the team feeling overwhelmed or understaffed.
If it’s in the budget to staff more? I would do so. Numbers can’t be the only focus here. Because customers are leaving unhappy
The manager (or the person who seemed to be the manager) refused to take anyone’s order in line because they got busy. I understand being overwhelmed but she was shouting “they will wait” and was being super rude about people being in line. People were waiting very patiently and she seemed to be the only rude person refusing to take orders. I only wanted a frosty and literally all they had to do was get that but I ended up waiting 15 minutes because she told the cashier to refuse customers, all the while door dash orders were still coming in.
This place is a dice roll. 50% of the time my order is messed up. The employees here always look like they hate their jobs, strange because everyone else at Union station is pretty happy. When you order they repeat it back like a question.
Me: "I'll have a number 1 and medium fry."
Wendy's: "Your having a number 1 AND a medium fry?"
Me: "Yes?"
The raised eye brow of the cashier really sends it, causes me to question my life choices... Did I want nuggets? A Baconator? Does my wife still love me?
Our trip from NYC to Washington DC led us to Wendy's, but it wasn't what we expected. The service was super slow, and it felt like the staff weren't enjoying their work. Waiting for a sandwich took about 30 minutes, and when we finally got it, the food wasn't as good as we hoped, especially compared to other Wendy's we've been to. It was a surprise disappointment for us during our visit to DC.
I placed a mobile order, 1 small coffee. I waited. I waited some more. People who ordered meals AFTER me, got their order before I got my small coffee. I wondered if there was more to the wait than just their incompetence.
Bad chef, bad attitude. It is supposed to be fast food. We almost missed our train. The site had only 2 orders , but it was a mess. We left our burgers as we couldn’t wait for them to be prepared. The chef was arguing with cashier, cause the chef have a bad attitude and no sense of urgency. The cashier was stress because the chef was not delivering orders. It is a shame such a large brand.
Ordered a Double Bacon Burger Biggie Bag (large). Burger didn’t have any bacon and they gave me a small fry. Everything was cold and burger looked like it was sitting around all day.
