Great family owned business. Great duo. Wendy does a great job with my wife and daughters hair while Jose is definitely a great barber
i naturally have curly hair so when i got my hair done i kept it in a tubi for a whole day, took it out and went outside and got puffy. this has never happened to me and charges way too much. $50 for a blowout is crazy
I went for a wash and set on my natural hair and left with a perm that was snuck into the deep conditioner (that I did not ask for) if my hair was too thick for you then you should’ve sent me in my way. I do not do chemicals and if you don’t stay away!
I would never go here again! There is one women doing hair. She doesn’t set appointments so everyone is there at same time. There was beer bottles on counter, hair all over the floor, a large dog sleeping on the waiting sofa. I sent my daughter there for a wash and set only! 4 1/2 hours later she was done. End results was good but the wait time, dirtiness was too much for me. I asked someone waiting was this wait normal! She said yes, then the women Wendy chimed in and said I can take my daughter. I would of if she wasn’t sitting with conditioner in her hair while Wendy blow hair. My daughter had a school dance so we tried this place. Absolutely ridiculous on time and courtesy
Yep, lost my business. I went there twice before and can understand people complaining about how dirty and unprofessional it is but thought that her skills overshadowed that... But I was fooling myself. First time didn't even get the color right but I liked the color so whatever. Second time, I waited literally 6 hours and couldn't get all I needed done. Left with the job half completed. Third time, I tried getting a dye and was told I was too late for it at 1:00??? Not even a notification on the website about this. Thank God I didn't pay the cab fare to go there. What's more, they don't care! And they let you know they don't care! They only cater to their regulars, although how do you become a regular with such pisspoor service from the get? Just not worth the headache since my hair wasn't turned into gold for all my struggle. Prices are reasonable in my opinion, hence 2 stars and not 1.
I’ve been going to Wendy for over 15 years now . I've followed her from when she worked for Angie . knew she was a beast even then . Wendy has been coloring my hair for the past 5 years and I have to say I wouldn't dare trust another with the task . of course there's a little bit of a wait, friendly chit chat amongst customers, && shes a bit pricey, especially for natural hair BUT the quality she provides is unmatched and well worth it . && for those whom don't understand, thats Sophies ( her pup ) shop . she is the manager lol . if you can't appreciate the friendly staff, find another hair salon .
i went to get a haircut and the lady completely messed up my hair! i don’t recommend coming here if you have straight hair. Also the stylist insisted on doing a certain hair style rather than one i wanted. Lastly the prices are way too expensive, i go to a hair salon in the city and it costs $20 for great hair wash and a good hair cut.
