I spent my whole lunch waiting in line for my food. Then have to let it sit in my car, because I can’t eat on the job… Every time I buy a chili from here or a burger they always taste extremely old.
Update: 9 months later and this place still suxks. They never have potatoes. Their food always taste extremely old. Damn you Wendy’s for not caring enough to improve the Dixon location….
Update 5/16/2024— saw the manager outside staring at a bush very weird. She sat there for about 10 minutes not on the phone or talking to anybody except for the bush on drugs. The restaurant is absolutely filthy inside. It looks like they mopped all the tables and booths with syrup. Not to mention there was caution tape around two of the booths none of the condiments, straws, salt pepper anything was filled. They did not give me a receipt so I cannot leave a corporate review, but hopefully the district manager sees this and does something as this has been a disappointment of a restaurant for the past three years, I do not recommend..
Just went to see how the reviews are. A customer came from Wendy's with nearly 15 dollars more than what she was owed for change. Good for them. Tried getting a job with this location and it seems I dodged a nuclear bomb. You guys only hire babies, and people who are obedient insufferable submissive pansies. Could have done better, but you guys are too lazy to train them properly. And the terrible attitude? What a joke. Could have fooled me. While just wait for the place to crumble down with the employees inside.
You guys have the literal worst food around here in this town and the people inside act as entitled as if they have the best food. You are horrible to your workers and all the workers are so rude and horrible to other workers, seems like a very toxic and horrible atmosphere to be around. I’m surprised this place hasn’t been shut down or not on the way to be shut down. I’ve always gotten my orders messed up or they’ve almost always been cold or the food is just disgusting. It’s almost depressing to even go there or order. The workers don’t even pretend to be happy that they work there.
The dining room is disgusting. Rugs all stained. Ice machine cover off and it was all moldy looking. My burger was all sauce. Dont get me wrong, I love a burger with lots of sauce, but every bite it would squeeze out the back, or I had it all over my face. The fries were good!!!!! Wont be going to this location unless they do a remodel. Disgusting.
Management on all shift have terrible customer service and bad attitudes. Food is a hit and miss(mostly a miss).Don’t come back with a complaint oh the attitudes and nasty looks from management . I’ve never come to this Wendys and anyone was friendly or had a smile, the one young lady that worked there before was very friendly with a great attitude but I’ve come to learn why their workers never stick around. This place is going to make someone really sick. You never get a receipt(hmmm wonder why)Today was my last time spending my hard earned dollars for bad customer service and old overly salty food.
My daughter got a hamburger with a hair on it which was black and curly which neither of us have. She asked for a new sandwich and the employee told her why can't you just eat it. This is indicative of their service. They don't have any condiments out for you to take your own. You have to ask at the counter their generally out of different types of soda. The frosting machine is constantly broken. Their hamburgers are a joke. They don't look anything like what's on the menu and in fact they look much worse than you would expect. Any hamburger should the buns are generally stale. The dining room has many broken pieces of furniture or poorly repaired furniture. This is not from one experience. This is over multiple experiences. There are not many choices in this town for fast food. We try really hard not to eat here, but since there is a lack of choices in this town, sometimes we are compelled to and always regret it.Overall I would say this is the worst Wendy's on the planet.
I would give this -10 stars if I could the past several times I’ve gone through here everything has been awful. I don’t know why I go back I worked at this location for years, so I am very well aware of how things are supposed to be and what things look like and taste like after they passed their hold times and every time I get something from there it’s always past their hold time Tonight I got an order burger patties were completely dry over salted. They didn’t even give me the correct soda I had ordered through DoorDash. The baked potatoes were dry and shriveled cheese sauce on the potato tasted burnt. They did not provide sour cream for the other potato, the sour cream and chive potato, to be more specific . I ordered a Sprite. They gave us what looked to be mellow yellow, but couldn’t tell what it was because it didn’t taste like anything we ever had tasted before this location has severely gone downhill as someone that used to work there really saddens me to see a location that was once very good, go downhill so badly
Not sure what Wendy's has done to their burgers but they are absolutely terrible. They taste like cardboard. My boys will not eat them anymore, either.
