I want to say this Wendy's was good but unfortunately I cannot. The closer I got to at the more it smelled of marijuana. It was originally locked when I went up to it but one of the employees was outside and told me he would let me in. And when I went in I ordered some food and went to the bathroom The bathrooms were messy and they didn't get my order right I ordered a regular homestyle chicken sandwich and they gave me a spicy. Which is not the worst thing in the world but it's not what I wanted. I went in to try and complain and they said that I ordered a spicy even though I ordered through the kiosk and showed them the receipt saying that I ordered a home style they were adamant that I ordered a spicy. They also had cleaning products on the floor and it made me question how clean the place actually was.
The restaurant = awesome. The employees are friendly and able to think. I did a mobile order and they recognized that it may have been me by how I stood back in the store.
Food = Good. It was just as expected. But had to wait for more nuggets to cook. Which when eating was random hot nugget (????????) then cold nugget (????????). The earlier nuggets should have gotten a quick dip in the fryer for a second or 2 just to warm them.
App = a frustrating waste of time. It wouldn't complete my order nor would it clarify the issue. The website was able to get it to work. So the app went off my phone. I'll use that website in the future. Same thing just with an easier format.
we ordered a mobile order for reference. when we pulled to the speaker we were the only car in the whole drive through. it took 5 minutes for anyone to even say anything on the speaker, and another 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us at the window while we watched at least 4 employees (all teenagers) leaning up against the counters on their phones, including the girl running the drive through window. it took about another 15 minutes for them to give us our food which i wouldn’t have even complained about except one of the burgers was wrong when they handed our food to us and instead of fixing it the girl at the window tried arguing with us about what we had ordered. she finally had the burger remade and we went home because we were hungry and just wanted to get home and eat at that point. when we got home and took all of the food out of all of the bags, everything was cold and stale like it had been sitting around for hours. considering we waited 15-20 minutes after ordering to even come get our food and waited another 15 minutes at the window, we assumed we were waiting on fresh food but that was not the case. i unwrapped the burger they remade and it was just a total mess. it was drowned in ketchup, including the bun and the whole inside of the wrapper itself. and it still wasn’t right because it wasn’t supposed to come with mustard on it but it did. i didn’t wanna drive all the way back out there to have it made a third time so i just tried wiping it off the best i could so i could eat it. this whole experience was just a nightmare and it wasn’t even worth all the trouble because the food was almost inedible once we got home. i’ve worked in fast food and i now work in a restaurant so i’m pretty understanding, i’ve never made a complaint before because i try to put myself in their situation and not give anyone a hard time because i know what it’s like for customers to yell and scream and cuss at you for something that’s not even your fault. but between the amount of time it took to even get through the drive through, the rudeness and awful attitudes of the employees and the cold and stale food i was just really upset about this whole experience honestly. i don’t know where their manager was but they were not supervising their staff at all. it was honestly just ridiculous and it makes us not want to come back.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Allow me to explain, I'm not one for writing bad reviews unless there's an actual need. This location used to be fast and full of friendly staff. This is my 2nd time at this location in the last month. Both times. There have only been one or 2 cars infront of me and it's taken 20mins just waiting to order you'd think it's cause they're short staffed but both times I've gone there's been atleast 4 people just by the pick-up window. Both times I've gone, they've forgotten a part of my order or made something wrong.in addition, I went tonight and one of the employees was messing with their nose piercing, which is fine but their fingers were up in their nose then touching my food ????????????. I've tried reaching out about the super slow service forgotten and the improperly made food items both on their survey and by calling the store. No one has contacted me from the survey and they do not answer the phones at the store ????. Honestly, you will have better luck, better service and probably save time driving an extra 7mins down 42 to the location right off the 70 ramp. Like I said, I don't personally like writing reviews like this but the service here is awful and no one seems to care. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk ????
I am leaving a review because Wendy’s is advertising one dollar singles and two dollar doubles right now for March Madness. We went inside to order a carry out order because we had to use the app. It took so long for someone to take our order, that the QR code the server needed to scan, had already disappeared, and would not come back. I asked her to help me with the app, and she said she had no idea. I wanted to order a strawberry Frosty, because it was on the giant menu board, she said they only had chocolate and vanilla. Although my burger was delicious, my mother‘s french fries were not fresh and her burger tasted like it had been sitting for a while, we got no napkins in the bags, and my mom wasn’t given a spoon for her frosty. I would suggest that all employees familiarize themselves with the current menu, the specials that Wendy’s is currently advertising , and how to use the app so that they can help us older customers.
All of this took place on 4/26/23 at around 6:45pm.
This Wendy's USED to be pretty good, lately it has become a slum. The floors were entirely unswept, cup lids with old pop on the floors and worst of all my daughter goes to the bathroom and instantly turned around and came back out and told me "there's an employee in the bathroom sitting on the sink vaping." The girl is blonde and skinny, she came back out to the front desk swearing about God knows what for everyone to hear. Then she says she needs to go on break.....um did you not just have enough of a break chilling on the sink vaping and making my daughter feel like she was walking into an uncomfortable environment?!
Get it together Wendy's.
Food was decent though......but not enough for me to want to come back.
We Typically have wendys as a family on the weekends with EXCELLENT food and service, but the past 2-3 months has been HORRIBLE. They make us pull out of line each time and and wait 10-20 minutes. Then when they FINALLY bring the food out and we drive a mile and a half home everything is ice cold. We are very disappointed. I hope they don't close down for years like BK did.
Ordered a baconator and this is what I got. Very disappointed with the fries because they tasted like old oil, burger barely had any bacon on it. Not the first time I've been let down with this location.
