This place is pretty notorious for long wait times but today takes the cake. I sat in line for 18 minutes and when I got to the pickup was pulled forward because they "just dropped more chicken." What were they doing those last 18 minutes? Who knows. I sat there for another 5 minutes before I had to drive off with nothing so I wasnt late to work. How do you run a fast food joint where people take their 30 minute lunch and make them wait for 23+ of it...at 7:30 PM even!
Wow! Vandalia, Ohio Wendy’s! This is the most horrible so called “fast food” joint I have ever been to. Placed a mobile order because there is never anybody at the register. Went in to pick up my order and I was correct! Was not acknowledged for 20 minutes. 3 of the ladies working there even walked up to the counter and was never even acknowledged. No we will be right with you or can we help you. NO!! Instead the one decided to talk on her cell phone while putting in fries., which she pulled up and they sat there untouched for the 20 minutes we waited. Also, want to note that there was only 1 other couple in the whole building and no line at the drive through. Finally, had to say something ti one of them and she was rude and acted liked I was interrupting her! This place is a joke! Never going back. Also, we have been there several times in the past month and they have been out of ice and every kind of Coke Zero. If you can’t handle waiting on 2 couples, you shouldn’t offer mobile orders or Door Dash. They are not capable of multitasking.
I was there earlier at lunchtime and the line to the drive thru was long so I ran inside and ordered little did anyone know that their was only 3 associates and they was doing a heck of a job and getting people's orders out as quickly as they could. Food was still fresh and they was on it! Kudos to those 3!! Thank you Don't hesitate to go. They deserve something extra for what they do.
The burgers were hard & crispy, overcooked. The manager gave bad customer service at the drive thru & even gave me the wrong receipt leading me to think I had paid double what I had.
My Wife and I stopped at this location on March 16, 2024 to grab lunch just before we went to the Trump Rally at the airport and we had the BEST Drive thru Service from a Man named JAMES!!! This Man was the Absolute Best drive thru Service Attendant that you could EVER have. He definitely deserves A BIG pay raise and he should be the Customer Service Manager. He should also be the Trainer for EVERY drive thru employee in the Nation. He was a SUPER good listener, he repeated everything back to as you were placing the order, if you changed something he repeated it back to you as you were changing an item. He was SUPER RESPECTFUL and POLITE. My favorite thing was, he would say, "I got you" after EVERY single item you ordered. The Service was most definitely one of a kind, fast and fresh. The food was super good and nice and hot like it's suppose to be. I'm 43 years old and I have NEVER had a better drive thru Attendant as he was. In my opinion this Man deserves $50/hour. So, I just want to say, THANK YOU JAMES! YOU were the best and you Deserve the best Wendy's can offer you. I strongly believe you should be customer service manager. Again, THANK YOU JAMES.
Terrible terrible service. Girl taking orders had ear buds in and was not listening to what we ordered. Missed items. Then we waited 30+ minutes for our food. My son whose order she didn't hear because of ear buds and not paying attention took another 15-20 min for his meal. No honey for chicken nuggets. Brought wrong drinks out. They were so slow even just walking. Ridiculous. Won't ever go back. We would have left and asked for a refund but I had 2 of my young grandchildren with us. It was not even lunch or dinner time. 2:30 pm.
Slow rude never busy. Never ask if they can help you. 40 minute wait for one sandwich or more. Two employees most of the time. Drive off customers in drive thru. Employees are usually on their phones and annoyed when you asking for something or order.
Pulled up in the drive-thru and was told that it would be a 10 minute wait because they had just dropped burgers. Pulled around and the guy working the drive-thru was out in the lot having a smoke break...absolute joke there wasn't anyone else ordering food so unless I just missed the great burger run of 2024, somebody's lying. Oh well, they will be like Vandalia's Burger King soon
