I’m here every week for my prescription. Can’t believe my ears, I’m sitting waiting and the women in the back are openly name calling a customer who had just been in before me. Baring in mind this customer had said “thank you” to them before leaving and the man who is the pharmacist was laughing with them!!! Not one member of staff stood up and said what they were doing was wrong.
God only knows what others get called when they leave. I’ve heard them speaking poorly about how people dress and what they look like which is absolutely disgusting behaviour.
I had a problem months ago and the same happened to me only I was still stood in the a busy Que. All the girls were laughing and mocking the medication I was receiving (for mental health) and I just found it to be an experience I’d never forget. I said something to the girl in that moment and touch wood haven’t seen her in there since. But the fact again that not one other member of staff actually states what they’re doing and saying is wrong is beyond me.
Good luck anyone coming here because we all get a good mocking once we leave the building.

Absolutely disgusting, Lady on the counter has an absolute shocking attitude. Everything seems like too much trouble. I get that it's busy but if I had gone in and spoken to her like that she wouldn't have served me. If you hate your job that much I think it's time for a change! The wait time is always ridiculous so maybe they need more staff or at least staff that don't make you feel bad for asking for a service that a chemist is supposed to provide as standard.
Useless asked for home delivery.
Been a month my medication still not arrived calling them puts you on hold then seconds later cuts off. Both that I am waiting for are critical medications.
Moving to an online mailing company.
Don't take the excuse that's its boots closing they had the time to employ more staff. But clearly haven't.
Diabolical place. Computers been down all week so never had my prescription ordered on Tuesday. I've got an awful sprained ankle and can't walk much or stand up. Twice I've been here today plus having to walk to my doctor's to get a written script. Both times the queue has been so long. I had to sit down and it just kept getting longer. Zero organisational skills here. If Boots hadn't closed down I'd change pharmacy in a heartbeat! Now I'll be without important depression meds until Monday. Thanks a lot!!!
I've been waiting almost week for my meds to be delivered. Every time I need a repeat, I have to go through this same process, I'd recommend people do not get their meds from here. Worst pharmacy I've ever had to deal with.
I would have gave zero stars if I could .This pharmacy is diabolical, it has rapidly gone down hill and I have been going here for years. It is totally unorganised. Peoples prescriptions all over in plastic baskets. The floor is absolutely covered with prescriptions in bags because of this it takes forever for them to find your prescription. Every time I go to collect a prescription you have to wait a very long time. Today was the last straw with only three people before me. I still waited 45 minutes at to top it off the Pharmacist decided to go for lunch 4.15 at peak time when people are going in from work to collect. Leaving people standing waiting for items to be checked off. This is not just a one off every time me or my husband goes in to collect a prescription you are in for a very long wait.So now I am looking for a different pharmacy. It is utter Chaos.
Recently had an issue with my repeat prescription from here (Antidepressants for my mental health). My Doctors arranged for a replacement prescription for me that I needed to collect. Upon arrival, I was interrogated by the pharmacist (young lady with dark hair) her attitude wasn't professional, and she acted like the whole thing was my fault, repeatedly questioning my actions. Eventually she realized that the issue was indeed the Pharmacy's fault and her attitude changed completely. She then told me she'd replace my prescription this time as a favour.
After this interaction, I can't recommend them, and I have now changed to Grindon Pharmacy.
*Edit* emailed the complaint email address posted below by the owner. Never heard anything back...
Just been today absolutely rubbish disgusting service waited 40 minutes then they couldn't find Prescription waited 10 more minutes and it took 2 of the staff and they finally found it they looked really proud only to find out of stock
