They make you pay on the side of the road. If you do not pay, they keep your truck/trailer hostage, it would be towed away by owner's expence..

First time coming through this highway N. They should put on the exit weigh station to exit. To be honest I was looking for that sign. I miss the exit so when bypass. But one truck was pulled over on the south side. Going North you need to exit 21. The picture is from Google maps
Very nice people. Very quick service. Looking forward to going back. This is not the weigh station in OK, its Five Below warehouse in Conroe, TX
The officers were helpfully and understanding. I was over wieght on my drive axles due to an emergency stop I had mad earlier that day. I adjusted my wieght and was on my way with just a warning. Remember drivers the D O T is there to help you be better and safer drivers of the road. They don't want your money or to give you tickets all the time. It's about safety. Remember your family drives these roads to. Drive safe every one. PS

They put a sign that weigh station is 2 mile away and the weigh station is less then 1/4 mile by time I see weigh station exit sign I passed the exit and cope chased me .. they sitting there to make money from the truck.. signs tricked you be careful.. got $150 ticket..
I was actually over by a bit and the DOT officer just told me to slide my tandems before leaving. Didn't come out and ticket me. But I guess it's how you carry yourself
