Just had a lovely meal here, called in at lunch time but fancied a cooked breakfast, wow! Full Scottish, high quality bacon delicious square sausage and black pudding! Think its a tatty scone? (very tasty) quality beans, nice egg and toast! Wife had soup and a toaste and i finished with local (i think) ice-cream! Great coffee too????????????
The cafè is really a wee cafe and my breakfast tasted lovely.
I was only disappointed about everything being wrapped in take-away boxes….
Tea and scones after a walk to Achamore Gardens. A welcome little rest stop before setting off again!
The three of us were walking the length of the island on a very wet day. The cafe staff were very welcoming, the coffee was superb and the view down the bay lovely even in poor weather. Clean loos. Must go back for ice cream in better weather!
Just got some fruit scones with butter jam and clotted cream - they heated the scones and they come in an environmentally friendly cardboard box. Delicious and too cheap at £2 each. Lovely seating area on picnic benches outside or stools indoors. Great service too.
Lovely staff, fantastic food and incredible views from the courtyard. A must stop for breakfast rolls.
We visited this cafe on their opening day and we were pleasantly surprised. We had milkshakes (choose the one with the fresh icecream!), a good coffee and two scoops of ice cream for our wee twin daughters. Rest of the menu looked delightful and the cakes we saw looked good too!
I have had the Breakfast In the Box, and a Morning roll with square suasage, bacon, black pudding and fried egg. Sublime stuff, especially the eggs. Absolutely great food, and a great breakfast place if you are on the island. Recommended, and go for the ice creams you must.
