Our server was the best, he was funny & did a great job. Wings were cheap $1 each but some other items were average or on the higher side. I didn’t take pictures of everyone’s meals.
Wow the food was excellent. Myself and a friend are always on the prowl for wonderful fried chicken. This place ranks in the top spot right now. We traveled 60 miles to give it a try and we’re not disappointed. Salad bar was a wide variety of excellent choices. Soup was delicious but very hot. My fault for digging right in. Loved everything. Our waitress was also amazing and accommodating.
A hidden gem. I saw in another review someone say this is a mixture of a country dive bar and a supper club. That is the perfect way to describe this place. It looks a little run down, but don’t let the appearance scare you away. The food is great, and portions are huge. Call ahead and make reservations because it is very busy. Parking lot is small, and many people were parked on the road. We got the 1/2 sampler and that was big enough to be our meal. The salad bar had many choices of toppings, potato salad, macaroni salad, pea salad, and others as well. The soup was part of the salad bar too and it was also. Our main course was prime rib with mashed potatoes and shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes. We were very satisfied, and will come back. Absolutely stuffed!
Our new favorite comfort food place. Fried chicken to die for. Prime rib sandwich best anywhere. Good salad bar too!
Great little bar and their good is absolutely amazing! Been there a couple times cause it's so good. Best salad bar and the house dressing is soooo good. Best fried chicken I've ever had!!!
The giant pretzel is awesome! So is there fried chicken and the salad bar is excellent. Very fun place to eat and drink. Has a north woods atmosphere in rural Illinois
Delicious food! I definitely want to come back to try the chicken! Love that they have a salad and soup bar. Only reason for 4 stars was our server seemed to forget about us and our drinks often. Asked if we needed more drinks, took our orders and then never came back. Ended up walking up to the bar to get them ourselves. Otherwise, great place to try!
First time there. Was seated within 5 minutes even though they were super packed. Still got great service and the food was amazing. The salad bar was soooooo good!
