Best KPortal Reviews
The worst breakfast I have ever ever ever had!!!
Firstly..The service provided by Heidi(?? )from SA was excellent, I cant fault her in any way. However, the food was awful. I ordered the small breakfast £6.80 ( Eggs, Bacon,Sausage,Beans,Black-Pud,Toast) I also ordered a pot of tea. I declined the beans and asked for extra bacon..The plate arrived as follows..1 cheap sausage, 1 scrambled (limpid) eggs, 1 Tiny black pud, 2 rashers of tasteless bacon, and 1 teeny slice of brown toast!!!! Where was the extra bacon?? The portion was tiny, tasteless and just looked cheap and nasty. The brown sauce in the sachet was disgusting. When I went to pay, the total was £9.10..I did not realise the Tea was extra!! For me £10 for a breakfast like that is a total rip-off. I don't mind paying if the taste and quality are good, but sadly not the case in this cafe. I rarely write bad reviews, but in this case I felt it needs to be highlighted. Such a disappointment, a full english is not exactly difficult to cook.
Great privately run cafe just off Northbrook Street. Great choice of good quality sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes and other cafe meals. Very good coffee too!

What a lovely cafe! I received a very warm welcome from Jackie, who showed me to my table and took my order, which arrived promptly a few minutes later with a smile. The staff seem to know all their regular customers, taking time to chat. Lovely atmosphere, lovely coffee, I will return and recommend
Very very pretty hanging baskets is what I noticed first but it also has a brilliant cafe that offers all concoctions of a good fry up as well as other food. It's a cut through to the car park at the back of Poundland now they've closed their back doors
Great little square with cafe, excellent Lebanese restaurant and ice cream parlour, if summer was here great place to meet
Stood waiting, they maybe busy but at least take my order? Not to then be met with snide comments “she can’t wait” just some politeness would be nice?
I love coming here when I visit home. Reasonably priced delicious food and drinks. Nice to find a cafe that serves a decent shake and coke floats like when I was young. Excellent service with friendly staff too.
Wonderful Quiet Alleyway & Mini Shopping Square in the Heart of Newbury with Cafe serving Drinks, Cakes & Light Snacks for Lunch! Also fashion boutique & other interesting small stores. Weavers Walk is found just next the Oxfam Shop in Northbrook Street! Recommended! Enjoy!
