I wanted something special for Mother's Day & I've been wanting to try this place for months and boy am I glad I did. I had the Strawberry White Chocolate Waffle & the Salmon & Grits Bowl & both were delicious. It was a Door Dash Order & it was still fresh & on point.
Amazing. Great chill vibe, friendly staff, and fantastic food. All the waffles come with 3 crispy chicken wings or tenders, and they can be either spicy or regular. I had some banana walnut waffles with spicy wings. The seasoned potatoes were great too. Coffee could be a little stronger. I'm definitely coming back!
First time for my husband and myself. I have to say that we were not disappointed. I had the Berry Waffle with the 3 regular chicken fingers and potatoes and my husband had the Jalapeno Cornbread Waffle with 3 spicy chicken fingers and green beans. There were so many waffle combinations that we will be going back to try this place again. Definitely need to try the Reeses Peanut Butter Waffle and the Oreo Waffle as well as many others.
My sister and I stopped in for brunch today. I ordered a chocolate waffle with mild tenders and potatoes. My sister ordered the buttermilk waffle with mild tenders and potatoes. The chicken was some of the best I've had in a long time - perfectly seasoned, crispy coating, juicy meat. The waffle was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of chocolate and caramel sauce, garnished with walnuts. The home fries made me think of the potatoes my mom used to make - seasoned just right, cooked with perfectly sauteed peppers and onions. Service was on point and friendly. It felt like you were at a neighborhood spot where everyone is welcome and the servers are genuinely happy to see you. Prices are really good...you get a generous amount of food for your money. Come hungry and know you will have a very good meal. I'll definitely be back.
Today was our first time coming here. We had the buttermilk waffle meal and the cinnamon pecan waffle meal, both our meals were delicious. Our waitress was Christina and she was fantastic, she was very kind, explained the options, brought refills on coffee, etc...

Come ready to eat some great filling soul food at its best. Famous for the "Chicken & Waffles." So very yummy and delicious. I recommend the buttermilk waffles with the chicken wings or tenders. You can't go wrong either way.

Upbeat diner, the waitress and staff was very pleasant. The ordering was fast , but it took a minute, but only cause it was fresh . Music in the background was newer . Would come again.
My first time having authentic chicken and waffles and I was nearly moved to tears with how good everything was! My fiancé and I went out for a late lunch the other day. I got the classic buttermilk waffle with spicy tenders and he got the chocolate oreo waffle with regular chicken wings.
The waffles were hot and fluffy, and the chicken was so crispy and crunchy, on top of being seasoned to perfection. Speaking of being seasoned to perfection, the side of home fried potatoes that came with our meals were salty and savory. The little bits of onion and bell pepper mixed with butter was absolutely delicious.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and frequented the table regularly.
The only thing the place lacks is a bit of atmosphere and feels a wee bit empty, but honestly it's not the end of the world and is still cozy as there is music playing and a nice big TV.
